[DE Der Elf von meinem Weihnachtsbaum]
Today (6th January) is Epiphany, also known as Theophany, the day the Three Magi supposedly visited Jesus after his birth. So, I thought I'd carry on the Christmas spirit with a look at a traditional British Christmas tree. While some of these decorations (the baubles and assorted festive symbols) are still common, many have fallen out of general use. Let's hope we can change that.
Oh, and I know many people have doubted that these 'True History' posts are genuinely true, despite my repeated insistence that all entries are looked over by a team of experts before posting. Well this time I come with proof; actual pictures of my own Christmas tree.

TANNENBAUM?!
“Let this be called the tree of the Christ-Child; gather about it, not in the wild wood, but in your own homes; there it will shelter no deeds of blood, but loving gifts and rites of kindness.”- Saint Boniface
