He’s the unknowing star of a Truman Show-esque space TV program about fighting evil from the cockpit of a star-fighter. Lightning was sold into stardom as a kid by his parents, who had to fake their deaths and distance themselves from him to make the show Real. Now he “fights evil” to “avenge his family”, all while providing real entertainment to the galaxy. Surely he will never catch on to this
