Update on the kitty portrait Still a WIP
WIP of me painting my dresser. I've never used a palette knife before so there's more paint on my hands and clothes than on the dresser. Also ssssshhhhhh don't tell my mom, I'm not supposed to be paining it.

Tangible Music at MIT Media Lab
IDEA:Â A real time interactive physical representation of sound.
WHAT:Â 'SoundFORM' creates a new method for composers of electronic music to interact with their compositions. Through the use of a shape-shifting display, synthesized waveforms are projected in three dimensions in real time affording the ability to hear, visualize, and interact with the timbre of the notes. Two types of music composition are explored: generation of oscillator tones, and triggering of pre-recorded audio samples. The synthesized oscillating tones have three timbres: sine, sawtooth and square wave. The pre- recorded audio samples are drum tracks. Through the use of a gestural vocabulary, the user can directly touch and modify synthesized waveforms.
WHY: This shape-shifting instrument could inspire artists to create new interactive artworks, or as an instrument for live performances.Â
