People Magazine Features Tami Halton Pardee
Some people dream about success, others work for it. Tami Halton Pardee falls into the latter category; before she became known as the owner and CEO of Pardee Properties on the Westside of Los Angeles, Tami was working as a personal assistant for Sharon Stone and cleaning houses on the weekends to pay rent.
In their May 23 issue, People magazine highlights Tami Halton Pardee in their ‘My American Dream’ feature. Tami opens up about her humble upbringing and what motivates her to work so hard.
Most importantly, Tami wants people to know that “the best part is, all of the amazing people in my life that have embarked on this playful, creative journey with me. Loving the wild ride - and glad to have my 'tank full' with all of you!!!”
You can read the whole feature on page 81 of the current issue of People magazine, on newsstands now!
Haute Residence Summit 'Power Women' Panel
Our very own fearless leader, Tami Pardee, sat on the ‘Power Women’ panel at Haute Residence’s L.A. Luxury Real Estate Summit last week at the London West Hollywood amongst many of the heavy hitters in the Los Angeles real estate industry.
Tami shared her expertise on today’s market and what she sees for the future of real estate and where the market is going. When asked by the moderator of the panel “why do you think a seller or buyer would rather work with a female agent or broker? Or do you think it makes no difference?” Tami explained how important human connection is and how creating a relationship with clients is crucial. She was quoted in the Haute Residence Summit Recap as saying “at the end of the day, it’s all about who is connecting to that person or to those people.” We are in the business of changing people’s lives and Tami believes building trust - no matter if it’s from a male or female agent/broker - creates the bond of open communication and ultimately, a satisfied client for life.

Town Concierge - Venice*
A Venice resident for almost 20 years, Tami Pardee’s expertise in the area is unrivaled. The owner and principal broker of Pardee Properties, Tami is currently ranked as the #1 broker in Los Angeles. To date, she has sold over $2 billion worth of residential and commercial properties. In 2015, Tami was ranked the #17 real estate agent in the United States by Real Trends/The Wall Street Journal and #9 in California.
Tami received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and her MBA from Loyola Marymount University. After several years working for a large corporate entity, Tami felt strongly about creating a business where she could give back to the community in which she was living and working to not only improve it, but, to also help it thrive. Her belief that buying a home is the single most important life decision a person makes led Tami to found Pardee Properties in 2005, to start helping families realize their dreams.
Furthering her deep commitment to the Venice community, Tami created the Life-Changer Program. Through every home sale and purchase, Pardee Properties empowers the transformation of lives and communities by donating 10% net proceeds of each sale to a local charity. They have always put their hearts where their home are and, with the Life-Changer Program, Pardee Properties has been able to change even more lives for the better. As of July 2015, they have donated over $740,000 to worthwhile community organizations, opening doors and lifting hearts, one life at a time.
Tami lives in Venice with her husband and their four children.

Pardee in the Press: Tami Pardee Quoted in The Wall Street Journal
Tami Pardee was recently featured in The Wall Street Journal giving her expert take on why home prices have been hitting record highs. Tami explains that the lack of available homes on the market is a major factor driving up prices on the Westside. For more insight from Tami and the effects of rising prices on the national market, read the article below:
Existing-Home Prices Hit Record: $236,400
Tami Pardee, owner of Pardee Properties in the Los Angeles area, said a major factor driving up prices there is a lack of homes on the market. In Venice Beach, she said, for years there were typically 120 homes on the market. Over the past couple of years, however, that has fallen to about 40.
That has left a number of her clients, including working professionals such as teachers, struggling to buy. “If they didn’t buy and get in the market it’s hard to get into the market unless you have a lot of money,” she said.

Pardee in the Press: Tami Featured in L.A. Parent
Tami Pardee was featured in L.A. Parent's "Making it Their (Family) Business" piece which highlights Los Angeles moms who have mastered balancing motherhood with entrepreneurship. Making it Their (Family) Business
"While Gunn and Avedisian are at the start-up phase of their businesses, Tami Pardee is managing a burgeoning business she began in 2005 – plus four kids under the age of 12. Pardee, who had worked in the entertainment industry, planned to be a stay-at-home mom when her first daughter was born. She loved being a mom, but also found herself needing a break from the daily routine. Raised by a family of developers, she got her realtor’s license and started working part time, building her client base from her mommy-and-me group.
Pardee Properties, with offices in Venice and Santa Monica, now has 35 agents and employees and did $410 million in sales in 2014. Customer service is the hallmark of the company. “Buying a house is not only a financial decision, it’s an emotional decision,” Pardee says. “Our goal has always been to help our clients, many of them families, avoid some of the common pitfalls of buying a house.”
Pardee credits her success to meticulous planning, organization and staying focused on her goals. On her desk, she keeps a printed copy of her annual goals – a detailed list that includes everything from increasing social media promotion for her business to finding a more conveniently located dance studio for her daughter and taking a girlfriend trip."
