Vamos a mirar el atardecer?...
OP OH MY GOD SOMEONE SHARES MY OBSESSION WITH TALTAL.
i think yeah he was 100% attracted to her and in love with her and she him. The scene where he pulls back her hair and then the scene when he shouts at her for loving Wang Yu.
It was pretty much confirmed by the actor Jin Yi Han that there was a romance plotline planned for them but it didn't end up being developed, so he just played the character as having a one-sided crush. I don't even mind too much bc the silent pining we ended up with is making me revisit Those Episodes year after year.
Hella late for the party in the Empress Ki fandom but honestly Jin Yi Han is so pretty that I couldn’t resist making a little fan art for him ❤️
Also Tal Tal deserved a better ending. I know the drama had a lot of love lines but still I would have loved to see him and Seung Nyang together 😪
I’m not alone!

Empress ki: one shot. Stay (Taltal x Servant reader) part 1
Reader's Pov
At first, I thought that I never going to see him again yet here he is. Alive and well. He didn't know how worrying I was. The thought of seeing his dead body was one thing came to mind after I was told that he was dead but seeing him alive was something else, the things I been through was beyond any pain I've been through. Every time I see him all my memories floated in. I remember the first time that I met him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was reading Sun Tzu's Art of War when I suddenly hear the door open. Fear creeps inside of me and pray that it's not empress dowager. Instead, it was Taltal. When he and I lock eyes I suddenly fell in love for the first time in a long time. He then said "I didn't think any other servant could read The Art of War" well I'm full of surprises these days. I then said "You're not the first person that said that" he smiled a bit but I couldn't help but to blush a bit. I suddenly realize how long I been reading when looked outside. I then told him I have to go back to work. He nods and hopes that we get the chance to talk more.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That was only two months ago and ever since he and I talked more every now and then until a few months ago I decided to confess my feelings for him only to find out that he went to fight against the Turk's. Only it gets worse I also found out that Taltal did not survive. Never have I thought that losing him would bring such pain that I hoped to never feel again after being taken away home and forced to work in the palace as a servant for the empress dowager. Now losing the man I loved was even more painful than ever before. I was never the same until he came back. He saw me and smile at than he walked towards me till he was close enough. He then held my hands and said "y/n...please forgive me" tears stream down on my face and he wipes my tears. I then said, "I thought you were dead". He knew what I was talking about. instead of explaining why he left without telling me. He kissed my forehead, then he put his hand on my cheeks and whispers to me "It's alright. I'm right here". Then I looked into his eye and knew he wasn't lying. "I---" He cut me off by kissing me. My eyes widened, but I kissed back right away. We pulled away and then he smiled. Then he said, "I don't what to think about what I'd be like without you". "Neither do I".
