1. Do you already have presents for everyone?

Pretty much yeah, I just need to get one for my sister :)

2. To how many Christmas markets have you been so far this year?

Only one christmas market but I've been five times hahah :)

3. Do you have an advent calendar? If so, what was in it today?

I do! but I usually forget to open it. (I just did it and it was an angel & it's a where's wally calander so I had to find a tea pot n_n)

4. With whom will you be celebrating this year? Would you like it to be different?

I'm having christmas dinner with my mum and her boyfriend, but I wish I was at my nana's house cause all of the family go round and its just so much more fun.

5. Will you be going to church?

Nope

6. Do you have any Christmas accident stories?

When I was about twelve I woke up on christmas morning and I was really excited so I ran downstairs and as I was running to the front room I tripped over my pyjama bottoms (cause they were too long) and hit my head against a wall.

7. What is one thing that reminds you of last years Christmas (a book, a song, a dish…)?

uhm i dunno, its been too long i can't remember haha

8. Does your family sing together or make music on Christmas?

no they're really fucking boring.

9. What is the least Christmassy thing you did/do that felt/feels like Christmas?

I dont know, I make my boss put on the christmas cd at work

noo, i like being at home for christmas :)

“Sorry, Rach, but Mom and Dad are insisting that I keep an eye on you,” he explains, then shrugs, “and hey, they’re paying me.”

She glares at her nineteen year old brother. “I can’t believe you sold me out.”

“Hey, if I weren’t coming, you wouldn’t be allowed to go at all,” he states, “so you’re welcome.”

Rachel chooses to ignore him and instead focus on how unfair this situation is while planning revenge on her brother. At first she’d thought he would be a complete third wheel, ruining everything for her and Finn, and then she, naturally, devised a cunning plan. She only hopes that it’s worked.

When they pull up into the entrance, she grins as she spies Finn’s car already there, shooting out of her seat before Blaine has finished parking. “Hey!” he calls after her, but she’s already gaining on the door. Finn is easy to find, looking devastatingly handsome in his striped sweater and jeans. As soon as he sees her, he grins and welcomes her with a tight hug.

“Did you bring him?” she mumbles against his chest.

“He’s just gone to the bathroom to redo his hair or something,” he says, eyes skimming over her, “you look beautiful.” She beams, standing on her toes to place a chaste kiss to Finn’s soft lips.

“Hey Barbra, thanks for almost making me almost crash,” Blaine grumbles as he walks up behind them, twirling his keys around his forefinger.

“Pfft, it’s not me that’s going to make you crash. It's your atrocious driving skills. It’s actually a wonder you passed drivers ed sometimes.” She uncurls herself from Finn’s chest and gives a pointed look to Blaine. Finn just clears his throat and greets her brother with an awkward, “hi.” It’s to be expected really, since Blaine walked in on them post coitus and Rachel had desperately begged him not to tell their parents while Finn sat awkwardly in the background with a beet red face and the blankets gripped around his body so tightly he was almost cutting the circulation off.

Blaine reply is equally as hesitant, leaving Rachel stood in the middle and wishing that she and Finn had some privacy.

“I’m ready.” Oh, she has never been more excited to hear Kurt’s voice. Finn’s brother, two years her senior, walks their way, and she slyly watches for Blaine’s reaction. His mouth drops open slightly, eyes intent on Kurt and Kurt alone, before his lips curve upwards. She makes eye contact with Finn, who smirks back at her.

“K-Kurt?” Blaine says, “what are you doing here?”

“Finn invited me,” Kurt replies, looking in confusion between Finn and Rachel. It’s not secret to the group that once Kurt and Blaine got drunk and ended up making out for a good portion of their parents’ anniversary part, but they decided to just forget about it. Still, Rachel notices the tension between the pair, knowing that she can use it to her advantage.

“Let’s go inside!” She reaches for Finn’s hand, pulling him after her with a bounce in her step. They step in first, Rachel beaming proudly his way, “I knew this would work!”

Her boyfriend squeezes her hand and smiles, “we did it, babe.”

“And now,” she announces, “we can have a nice, private date without my brother reporting everything back to my parents.”

“Yeah,” Finn mumbles. “Besides, I still can’t look him in the eye after Friday night. What if he saw my… my thing?”

Her face sobers, and she just merely shakes her head. “Let’s not think about that, okay? I think Blaine’s already scarred enough from that experience.” She inwardly shivers, wanting to forget how embarrassing it had been. “Anyway, let’s go find a seat!” Once again she leads and they find themselves a cosy table in the corner, fit just for two.

“Um, Rach.”

Their heads snap up to see Kurt and Blaine, who are looking at them with matching looks of confusion and annoyance.

“Hmmm?” She acts as though nothing is wrong.

“I know you don’t exactly like math, but I think you can count that there are four people here, hence needing a table for four.”

She waves away his words. “This is our table. Go find your own.”

“Nice try,” he laughs humorlessly.

“I’m serious,” she insists, “go. Shoo.”

“Mom and Dad wi –”

“Be terrible shocked when I show them what magazines I found in your bedside drawer, won’t they?” She gives him a warning look, arms folding across her chest and eyes narrowing.

“I am sure they will be even more shocked to find out that their precious, innocent daughter is no longer a virgin and that she invites her boyfriend over when she thinks everyone is out to…” he hesitates, “fool around.”

Rachel grits her teeth together but otherwise stays quiet. Yes, Blaine thinks, two can play at that game.

“I really didn’t need to hear about that,” Kurt looks visibly paled at the thought.

Blaine scoffs. “And I didn’t need to hear how big Finn is, but I guess that’s just the way it is.” At this, a few of the other customers turn to give incredulous stares.

While Finn does a pretty good job at hiding behind the menu, Rachel stares to her brother with a mix of shock and embarrassment. Kurt, fighting off some nausea, reaches for Blaine’s hand. “I think we should get our own table,” he announces quickly, dragging the man away from their respective siblings. “Thank you for a mentally scarring image,” he mumbles to Blaine as they sit down, “I have a feeling I won’t be looking at Finn the same anymore.”

He smiles apologetically. “Sorry. But hey, at least you didn’t have to witness anything.”

“I would be getting my eyes bleached if that were the case.”

“I considered it,” he laughs, then asks, “so how’d you get roped into this? I have a feeling you being here isn’t an accident.”

Kurt sighs, “Finn said I could burn one of Rachel’s animal sweaters if I come, though I guess my invitation was only extended so that I could be a distraction to… well, you.” He then bitterly mumbles, “and I still haven’t gotten my hands on any of her stupid sweaters.”

“I’ll bring you one,” Blaine chuckles. “Hell, after this I’ll bring you her whole damn wardrobe full.”

There’s a hesitation, “did she trick you into this, too?”

“Actually, my parents wanted me to keep an eye on her since they’re out of town for the weekend. They’re pretty protective – if they knew half of the stuff Rachel did she’d be grounded until she’s forty.”

“Hmmm,” Kurt suddenly smirks, “sounds awfully tempting, doesn’t it?”

It sure does.

II.

From across the room Finn and Rachel watch their brothers. Well, Finn tries to focus on eating his meatballs, with Rachel doing most of the glances their way. “Look how close they're sitting, and oh, Kurt keeps touching Blaine's arm!"

Finn shrugs, “does it matter?”

“Finn!” she chastises him, “our brothers might be developing feelings for each other and you don’t care in the slightest?”

“Um… not really.” Her head snaps from Kurt and Blaine back to him, and he quickly explains. “They can do whatever they want, babe – I just want to enjoy this date with you.” That melts away her annoyance, her fingers delicately reaching out for his free hand.

“I love you,” she says sweetly, laughing when he gets some of the tomato sauce on his chin.

She reaches for his napkin, gently wiping it away. Their eyes lock, both sharing the same smile, before she slides closer to him in the booth and closes the gap between their lips. Rachel’s always been big on PDA, finding ways to touch him and let him know how she feels. He loves it.

He smiles against her lips as her hand runs through his hair, her mouth opening to let his tongue slip in.

Across the room, Kurt smiles as Blaine tells him stories about Dalton, thinking how the school sounds like a haven compared to McKinley. Well, anywhere is a haven compared to McKinley. “You’d love it,” Blaine finishes off, sipping at his drink.

“I think I would,” he smiles. “Your glee club is impressive, too. I saw you guys at regionals.” Kurt suddenly looks at Blaine shyly through his lashes, “you have an amazing voice. It must be a family trait.”

“Mine might be amazing, but yours is incredible,” he counters.

“Thank you. That… that means a lot to me, Blaine.” Their eyes lock, both feeling those butterflies in the pits of their stomachs. It’s a good feeling. Just as Blaine lifts has another sip of his drink, lowering the glass to the table, his fingers brush against Kurt’s. Rather than pull away, Kurt smiles nervously, reaching out to wrap his own delicate fingers around Blaine’s.

His breath catches in his throat as Blaine rubs his thumb over the back of Kurt’s knuckles, the small grazes of skin sending a blush creeping into his face. He peers back up to Blaine again, before his eyes catch sight of something on the other side of the room, smile dropping from his face.

Blaine suddenly frowns, too. Has he done something wrong?

“I’m surprised they haven’t been kicked out yet,” Kurt mutters.

Curiously, Blaine twists in his seat and gawks when he sees Finn and Rachel in a full blown make out session. He pulls a face. “Great, just what I wanted to see. My little sister and some big goof playing tonsil tennis.”

“Why is her mouth open so wide? Is his tongue doing a dental check in there?” Kurt forces his eyes to move away from the couple.

Eyeing his meal, Blaine says, “I suddenly don’t feel very hungry anymore.”

Kurt looks at their joined hands, then plucks up the courage to ask, “you wanna go somewhere else?” Blaine raises his thick brows in surprise, but a smile quickly springs to his face.

“I’d like that a lot.” He reaches for his jacket, “let me just text Rach and tell her that we’re leaving.”

“But she’s right there.”

“As much as I want to put a stop to Finn practically eating her face, I don’t want to get too close,” he grimaces, sending off a quick text. Still, he thinks in the back of his mind, he needs to thank her for bringing Kurt here. This is probably the best day he’s had in a while.

"Hey," Kurt starts on the way out, "can we burn some of her sweaters now?"
