I’ve seen some stuff going around about Jon Moxley being “bitter” and more negative things because of his interview. No. He’s not. If the WWE had given him the world and he was saying this, then yes. But that’s not what it is.
Jon spent all of his time arguing with Vince, just trying to keep some sort of dignity on the show.
He was not allowed to do what he wanted with his character. They wouldn’t even listen to his suggestions.
They were putting him in ridiculous storylines constantly. We all know that. We all loved the Lunatic Fringe, but knowing those things were making him hate wrestling sickens me.
Anything he was given, he worked with to the best of his ability.
WWE tried to force him to say extremely disrespectful things about his FRIEND who was battling CANCER. Someone he spent his WWE life with just got told he’s battling cancer for the second time and they try to make him say something along the lines of “Roman got what he deserved,” and something so bad he refused to say it on air.
He literally had depression from working there. His passion was drained because of them.
“I wanted Seth to curb stomp me into oblivion and have them take me off TV.”
He was unhappy. He was misused. He was disrespected. And he STILL did everything they told him to the best of his ability and waited out his contract. He didn’t ask for his release. He didn’t try to get fired. He even praised all of the talent and thanked WWE for everything it had given him, even considering how much it took from him.
That’s not a bitter employee. That’s someone being completely honest (which nobody else seems to have the balls to do). That’s him telling his side of the story because we all know WWE will try to turn it around on him.
Every fan has complained about WWE and their creative process and now some people are mad he’s saying the same? Can’t relate.
