Joker Presents: Helen Version where Joker uses Helen's traditionalism against her. The concept is similar to the ending of Romeo's: she's trapped in a black-and-white house. Only she's forced to perform traditional housewife duties like cooking and cleaning. She can't leave but each night her โhusbandโ (Joker) comes back home from work and greets her. They eat dinner. Husband shows no appreciation and watches TV instead while she cleans up. Then they sleep in the same bed. The next morning comes, she wakes up to find him gone. Unaware of the fact it is a dream, she treats all of this as normal. While her husband is away, she does her duties and stays away from the TV: knowledge, even the simplest news, is fuel for change which Helen avoids even in her subconscious. But one day while cleaning, she knocks down the remote and the TV starts. She watches a news about the other Queens; Nicole wins Nobel prizes for her discoveries, Cleo is a successful author, and Emma is still rallying for change. That is all it takes to have her feel unfulfilled and useless in her own home. She seeks comfort from her husband afterwards but he brushes her off each night. She doesn't love him like she's supposed to. She wants to leave him. When he realizes this, he tells her to go ahead. He points at the door. He tells her she has little if she stays and next to nothing if she leaves. She doesn't leave. The change is too dangerous for her. She won't survive in the real world. She can't survive without the familiarity of the home she hates so much.
She stays with him. She won't change, she can't.
