🎥 Timelapse: https://youtu.be/M8naBeX0vF4 This commission was a real treat! A few years ago, I painted Osman Al-Khem, a tiefling bard from Calimshan. Older version here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ELL0r4 Since then, he’s had wonderful adventures on the high seas, and throughout the lands. "Osman Al-Khem, the storied and travelled bard from Calimshan has spent his last year along the Sword Coast with a band of travellers and adventurers known as 'Raiders of the Lost'. After numerous successful ventures, including a brief stint in captaincy culminating with the destruction of the leader of the Black Armada (Sea King Tentrix), Osman has run afoul of a curse that ages him beyond his true years. Thankfully, his tiefling heritage has allowed his life, at the cost of his youth and vanity."

Her village was full of those who didn't belong in normal society. When her village was burned to the ground, she took to a life of adventure, joining a caravan to get a new lease on life.”

Had a lot of fun working on this commission, it was made as a gift for a player so the character’s appearance is based on them!

His childhood was filled with constant supervision and dedicated wizards instructing him. As his magical powers slowly began to manifest, the ever watchful eye of his people became more intense and their hopes and dreams weighed heavily on his mind. When the day came to determine the nature of his wizardry powers, Nulladin was in fact gifted in the divination arts. He leverages the spells learned in games of chance looking to make a living and to potentially become rich in order to live a comfortable life. It was not long before several criminal elements saw a use for his particular magics and he was a prized possession/crew member to the gangs of larger cities. After a streak of hard times Nulladin eventually worked his way to a stable self-sufficient living. Many debts owed to various criminal elements seems an odd thing for one to have considering the vast fortunes his divining has earned others. Recently a string of good luck led to a situation where all was going according to plan. The pot was enough to fully clear his debts and should he make it his final win of the night, Nulladin would be free and clear. However it would be a fateful night when his luck was noticed by the wrong people and he was taken into Custody and sent to the Eldritch Academy.”

“Warsmith Tau-ceti is a Starforged, a race of sentient machines that are all but extinct in the present day after a cataclysm on a galactic scale basically knocked the world he is on back into a pre-Industrial tech level. He came online with no access to his memory banks."

Where a scandal brought terrible shame to her family, it forced her to flee north further into the mountains. She found refuge in a temple to the raven Queen. Lucille also has a little sister and regrets not taking her with her when she left her family. Although she was always a devout servant, it wasn't until she successfully communed to her patron that she knew her true calling. She then sets out on her own in Pilgrimage to see the world for what it truly is. guiding those who stray far from the path into the light.”

When she was twenty, Nimadia decided to leave the monastery to seek adventure herself. Her mother, although sad to see her go, was very supportive and understanding of this decision. She traveled alone for a while before reaching the small city of Hill’s Edge, where she met a dwarf paladin by the name of Drammus Waterstrike and a halfling bard by the name of Eske Dewkeep. She joined the two in their travels and fell in love with the open road. The group was soon joined by Ove Manifort, a human rogue and her companion, Islief Alpen, a human wizard. The group traveled together for years, gaining a small reputation and making money along the way, and eventually coining the name “The Company of the Fearless Oath”.”
