Interview with Gary Allen (via email)
After sending an explanatory email to the 19 contacts we were provided with, I recived an email from Gary Allen, a representative of Talentwatch.net, saying he would be happy to help. In reply, I asked him several questions about his association with Ryan. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a filmed interview with him, due to accessibility, so if we decide to use this we will have someone else replacing his voice, and use it as a voice over rather than video footage.
1) How did you meet Ryan? I met Ryan via Facebook. Since I'm located in California we have never met in person.
2) What do you know about Ryan's career and experience? I believe I caught Ryan at the beginning stages of his career. I had not followed his career closely. I know that the recent release of his song, "Secret" was quite successful as well as the professionally produced video. I also know that he has secured some funding from the 'Slice The Pie' site.
3) How were you involved in Ryan's music career? I encouraged Ryan to join TalentWatch.net, a new site for aspiring music artists. In order to get on TalentWatch Ryan had to create a music video AND a personal video (where he introduced himself to music fans). He has done very well on our site and I believe this has given him more confidence in pursuing his music career.
4) What do you think of Ryan's musical talent and style? Ryan's a very talented singer/songwriter. I think he has tremendous potential. He has a certain charisma that comes across, which is extremely important when you're trying to connect with fans. As TalentWatch grows in popularity, I hope that we're able to help Ryan take his career to another level.
