death: what are three things you want to do before you die?

1. Christopher hopes to live long enough for space travel to be a viable thing for the general public. He has a curiosity he wishes to satisfy of what would the moon do to a Lycan if he were to visit it. It is one of those thoughts that only came into his mind when he was getting ready to sleep or was a little drunk. He doesn’t share this thoughts with too many others, but he has a theory that it isn’t the moon which affected lycans but rather the time. After all, young wolves feel the need to shift even on cloudy days. 

2. This one is definitely a secret wish, perhaps secret from Christopher himself. He wishes to experience a normal life, a family, a job, something not tied into saving all Lycan kind. When he was human it hadn’t been a choice because he’d been too busy trying to survive; and ever since he became Lycan, Christopher was thrust into war and serving other people’s political agendas. He wonders what it would be like to just be average, lycan or not. But he knows he isn’t really suited for that. 

temperance: can you describe a strange dream you’ve had?

"Dreams are meaningless.” There wasn’t a profundity to that statement. He did not mean the hopes and desires a person might have, rather he put no value in the images and situation his brain played while he slept. He’d read The Interpretation of Dreams early in the century and even he had been swept along Freud’s lunacy. “I dream of fields and mountain ranges the most.” It wasn’t a strange dream and he was sure it had to do with the desires of his inner most self. These dreams of running were especially true when he denied himself transforming around the full moon. “I suppose a strange dream I’ve had was on a ship.” Or maybe it was a memory. “I was with a woman who might have been my mother-- or at least in the dream she was.” Christopher hadn’t seen her face in the dream nor could he recall what his mother had looked like. “There was a storm and I could feel the impending disaster and that’s when I‘d wake.” 

the fool: do you have any nicknames?

Christopher did not have as many nicknames as he had aliases. “I suppose people have shortened my name to Chris.” That was the nickname for what he currently called himself. “When I went by Christopher in the past, some called me Kit.” Now most of his nicknames connected mainly to his reputation. He was called Le Chevalier long enough that he adopted it as a surname. The knight, the shadow-- which to him had been ironic. Nicknames were a sign of camaraderie and Christopher had few friends. “I’m sure certain people have less kind names for me.” The asshole or Le Connard were popular ones.

“I don’t believe I’ve said I love you to anyone specifically lately.”

“Of course, I’ve been alive for over six hundred years there have been a number of nights where I haven’t slept.”

"I suppose so, things always seem to work out for the best no matter how terrible it seems in the moment.”

“Yeah it wasn’t the best couple of nights I’ve ever had but it was fun spending all that time with some friends.”

56: How many people have you fist fought?

“Oh far too many to count at this point. I was a bit of a loose cannon as a kid. Suppose I still am when I think about it.”

62: What makes you happy?

“My family, my friends. I’m not all that complex really. I enjoy spending time with people that I care for.”

70: Is there anyone you would die for?

“My family and my coven. Without question.”
