First day of cycling in Thailand! Wow, we really noticed again, how every country has it's own rhythm. And we have to get used to Thailands! First of all, it's super hot with temperatures up to 40°C. Then, compared to the last countries we've travelled, Thailand seems to be quite expensive! (Which means,lunch is 3€, not 1€ and beer is 1€, not 0.5€ and so on...) We saw crazy supermarkets with imported foods from all over the world (For example a big choice of german beer!). On the parking space and on the roads are mostly big pick up trucks. On the other hand we still saw some really poor people. So it seems to be a quite wealthy country compared to the countries we travelled before. But the difference between the rich and and the poor people is huge! ----- We made many breaks and looked for some shade under trees!
