Alright, here's the deal mother-truckers: It's getting to be halfway through the semester, and if we're all being honest we could use some help. There are a ton of pen brands making these, but if you don't already have one, buy one. Heck, why not stop there? Buy a shit-ton of them. Here's what they look like:

So, once you have one these are the best things you'll find for easy notes. I color code my notes for the best possible way to retain information. There are 4 colors: Red, Blue, Green, and Black. FIrst things first, use red to underline key terms. Red brings the most important aspects to your attention first, so it's best for scanning and/or looking for terms, cause I get it. Shit gets hard when everything is in black and you can't find the word you're looking for. Next, always use blue when writing definitions. It has been scientifically proven that writing in blue increases your chances of storing this information in your long-term memory. I use black for reasoning, because while it's important to explain in notes, it's more convenient to write it up in the way that our brains are more used to processing. Alright, last color is green. Green is used for examples and notes to self in the margins since green is a calming color and when you're reading, your eyes are going to want to read the green last, so the examples are freshest in your mind. You're probably wondering why we can't just use multiple pens, but it is more convenient, cheaper, and more effective just to have one pen. And since it has 4 colors, it is also great for teachers and everyday people since it has more options and it brings a little more variety to the table. Plus, you can click it a lot :)
