i just saw this 😭😭😭😭 but i do have a bit! hes one of my fav characters, i wish there was more content of him… im not very organized with my thoughts so this is just a little bit

- he stayed at an orphanage for most of his first years before getting kicked out after being framed, for a little while he was just wandering around the village until that day when he met Akira

- he’s not too bothered about gender (since technically, he doesn’t have one), which is funny because this is the same guy who was in denial with being in love with his best friend for years. woke but not in that field i suppose

- because of being called ‘boring’ for so long, he tried to get into different hobbies, but since hes basically the only competent officer on the island, he’s too busy to actually pursue them. he might know a thing or two about fishing tho… lol

- when he first came into Akira’s care, he didn’t how to cook (just basic fire-starting skills) but since akira was clueless as well, he forced himself to learn for both (or all three, considering kurai) of them (luckily akira had a cookbook in his library). he enjoys doing it now and he loves when Kuniko helps him.

- (more takayama-centric) he usually pays for whenever they go out because he feels like he has to. he doesn’t like it when Akira spends too much (despite being rich asf LOL).

- Akira’s tried to convince him to move in with him full-time but Makoto insists on living at the apartment (even if he barely even stays there since he’s always doing a late shift or at the mansion)

- lightweight (i’m not sure if this is canon but i’ve seen arts of him being drunk lol) so he doesn’t drink too much in case he has to drive Akira home.

- wants to see other doppelgängers like him, but he’s never had the chance to because it’s not local to japan.

- he was probably one of the class officers back in high school. i just dunno which

- another high school hc, there were lots of rumors surrounding him and Akira (saying they were a bad luck kind of duo) but Akira didn’t know about it because makoto made sure it never reached him.

- i like to think he can make small tweaks in his appearance when transformed into someone else (usually Akira), but mostly chooses not to.

We know that Kurai and Akira don't consider him to be their brother (huge win for takayama shippers), but what about their parents? Also, in the meiji-arc he once says that he lives and works at the Takahashi-house, does that mean he was more like a servant? (Would make sense, since Akira would have scared away anyone else, and we never see a servant in the house (unusual for a house of that size and a family of that status back then).)
