Here's Part 2 of Tailgate Fan goes to Super Bowl 51 in Houston, featuring serious Big Game Sunday fun. So glad I got to do this, not only becaiuse I was in Houston when my team played in, and miraculously won, the Super Bowl, but also because this kept me all kinds of distracted before the game. Sweaty & blessed.

CBS and Tailgate Fan sent me & @thegheoffman & crew to cover the parties & festivities at #SB51 in Houston. It was a blast. Of course, in hindsight the weekend was more enjoyable considering the outcome...well, it would have been fun. Just not "one of the best weekends of my life" kind of memorable. Funny how sports can do that. Reghardless of the outcome, the fans were great...everyone got along...Houston is freaking enormous and so sprawling, but they did a bang up job hosting...and Tom Brady. That is all. Tough to beat being sent to have fun and filming it with your brother and some friends amongst fans, food and festivities. Life's always good when you're a Tailgate Fan. Congratulations to Clemson on winning the college national championship last night, and for coming back not only in that game but to settle the score with Alabama after a helluva title game last year, too. And huge thanks to both schools for the entertainment, fantastic finishes fitting for some killer football seasons. Seriously...thought it was hard to top the Rose Bowl this year. But with all the marbles/chips/playing device of choice on the line? Damn, grrrlll. Damn. That was fun. I had a chance to visit Clemson a few years ago for TAILGATE FAN on CBS Sports Network, and fell in love with Clempson (the P is not only silent, it's invisible) immediately. Whenever that team plays like they cook and party? Unbeatable.

Ever wanna know what it's like to go to a bunch of crazy parties over Super Bowl weekend? Well, allow me... CBS sent me & my brother, aka Team Tailgate Fan, to the Bay Area to hit up as many bars, parties, rallies and red carpets as possible in 72 hours. My head is still spinning, but that's a good thing. Might hav emade it easier that my favorite team wasn't in "The Big Game". Were the Pats there I can't imagine I'd have held steady for A single interview. Still, this was pretty great. A sincere appreciation fr football and it's grandeur now, and how far the Super Bowl has come, mixed with cool chances to talk with players, celebs and chefs...not to mention a lot of great Bay Area grub and drinks? HOORAY AMERICA FOOTBALL AND EVERYTHING!
