Taeyeon can be quite the stubborn woman, sometimes. Though it doesn’t necessarily make an appearance all that often - the more she gets to know someone, the more it does. This is one of the few times, as she looks down at the creation ( at least that’s what she’s calling it ) the younger girl brought over to her. Don’t get Taeyeon wrong, she loves trying new things, but when she said this was good… this wasn’t what she was expecting. It was a mess, things mixed together that shouldn’t be. Especially for frozen yogurt. So many toppings and things piled on it. She doesn’t want to even attempt to put any of this in her mouth now that she sees it. What did she agree to? A stomachache waiting to happen. “ Does any of this even go together…? Are those peanuts?? With… tapioca?  ”

“ Are you serious? ” Is the first thing out of Taeyeon’s mouth at Sooyoungs remark. It’s more of a playful question as she tilts her head forward, reaching an arm out to give a small nudge of her fist to the others arm. This seems to be a normal occurrence between the two. Jokes and playful hits with a lot of laughter. Which is a sound that the older of the two lets out next, it’s quiet but light as she raises her head to look up at her group member. The evidence of the protection mentioned was in Taeyeon’s hair. Wet, and dripping from the splash of a car driving through a puddle at a quick speed beside them. It was an automatic thing to sort of shove Sooyoung to the side as she realized the cars tire would surge straight through a puddle from the previous rainfall; not something she thought twice about at all. They were on their way to get snacks together, Taeyeon wanting to spend some time with her now that things have calmed down a bit. Only a bit, however - so this was her time and she didn’t want it ruined. She knew Sooyoung would be upset if her outfit got wet, since it was still quite new. “ But, catch this: are you wet? Exactly. ” She retorts with a grin.

I get to write about our Taeyeon, hm? Not a problem for me at all. First off, when joining smlective she was one of the first to quickly welcome me in. Cliche, but she makes me smile. Sometimes it’s the cookies, sometimes it’s just her. Okay, it’s just her; the cookies are an added bonus. Spending what precious time we do get together is something I do treasure. She’s been my friend for so long. It’s great to keep these special people nearby at all times. I do get concerned for her from time to time, but I have a hard time approaching people and not wanting to overstep where I’m potentially not needed, but that being said I’ll always be here for her and I’m just a phone call away when needed.

Thinking about the future and all, I hope that SM really just gives me that rock side job I’ve been wanting for years and maybe it can be a twosome with her. I mean, do we not remember our Devil’s Cry stage? Yeah. Let’s do it.

His mood had been sour that day due to a mixture of sleep exhaustion, the rain, and just the normal blues he experienced during the winter. However, he was not expecting the homemade gift to fall in to his hands just yet. Changmin’s lithe fingers brushed over the bag as it was handed to him, a smile softening over his lips as he looked over the selection inside of the bag. She remembered. One of his favorites, the ever sweet snickerdoodle, called to him and he took it out of the bag, unwrapping the cookie with a happy laugh. “Taeyeon-ah, thank you so much for these. You’re a life saver,” the last word was nearly cut off by him biting in to the cookie. With his free arm he wrapped it over the smaller of the pair’s shoulder and gave her a thankful side hug.

2007 : SNSD Dormitory

Soo’s tired. The day had been stupid, filled with unnecessary emotions and overall too much stress for the young female to actively enjoy it. With their debut date rapidly approaching, the dorm is a place filled with tensions and excitement, but also with insecurities and fear. And that’s where it’s all going wrong for Sooyoung. She might not be the oldest, but she is the tallest, and according to some of the members, the most stable. She’s become a venting post for a few of them, she’s the one absorbing all the stress of the other members to leave them comfortable. 

She pretends it doesn’t bother her, she listens to them, tries to give advice where she can and goes on with her life, hoping to have made at least a tiny change in the lives of her members. The same went for Taeyeon when she came to her, worrying about basically everything the position of newly appointed leader brought to her. The older was crying, Sooyoung was struggling, trying her best to insist Taeyeon would be fine. She herself was a crybaby, seeing other people cry didn’t help her not crying. But she managed just fine, had Taeyeon feeling lighter when she left, but Soo herself was still feeling heavy.
