back2u  , typically stylized as BACK2U , is  a  five–membered  boy group  formed  and  managed  by seventh  heaven. following the twelve episode stretch of reality survival show r u the one? , the group made their debut with the extended play " crossroads " , with leader and main rapper  yuanting  , main vocalist kaita , lead vocalist and visual  sangwoo  , vocalist taein  , vocalist  miggy  , and lead rapper and maknae  hansol in april of 2016. kaita departed from the group in 2018 after being arrested for driving under the influence , and sangwoo assumed his role of main vocalist and taein was switched to lead vocalist.

despite being a promising group , with high quality music and sufficient promotions , back2u just never found the outstanding success that their labelmates have seemed to achieve with ease. although their releases would occasionally resonate with the public and chart well , the group itself never caught on , with only sangwoo being deemed popular. nevertheless , they did manage to earn a tightknit and dedicated fanbase that still support them to this day and all of the members are extremely close.

with the expiration of their contracts in 2023 , only two of the back2u members chose to remained signed to seventh heaven— sangwoo and taein— while the others chose to focus on their solo careers elsewhere. they've subsequently halted group activities , but swear to fans that this isn't the end and they'll eventually have a comeback.

mona is incredulity and crushing callousness wrapped up in a sharp stare of brown orbs. she does not believe a word of taein’s subsequent rant to prove his innocence, firm in her stance that this is all his doing, the complete dolt, and that no earthly amount of insisting otherwise will deter her position on the matter. exasperation richly displayed on her features, she lets him ramble on for a minute longer before finally deciding to halt him in his tracks; hand up to his face and a frown etched into the creases of her cheeks, mona turns her full, unimpressed visage onto the boy beside her.

“no, taein. no. it is so your fault -- hear me out you little twerp!” her bark is fierce enough to quell the words bubbling forward from taein’s throat. “you’re listening to me now, bud. one,” she starts, index finger raised high in the air, “you were pestering me with your dumb sex objects in public and waving them in my face even though i told you i don’t like them at all. and two, when i told you to stop you shoved them in my face and caused me to fall. into the fountain. the fountain that got me wet.”

because gun mona is wet -- and not the wet taein is usually accustomed to from women. wet as in drenched head to toe in murky fountain water after trying to remove herself from his stupid dildo assault on her face -- why he even lugged those around was not within her capacity to care about at the current point in time. what she did care about was that it was twilight, chilly, and that she had almost half an hour’s trek home ahead of her. and that she had to do it all with damp socks.

so yes, it is taein’s fault.

her words seem to break through to him, and taein’s outrage mutes substantially. mona huffs, wringing fountain water from her hair with a grimace marring her features. a cold breeze blows past and she shivers, her sopping clothing not aiding her predicament in the slightest; she sneezes, sniffles, sneezes again--

and then suddenly all she sees is the underbelly of a comfortable woollen sweater -- taein’s sweater -- and mona is just about ready to adamantly refuse it when he grabs it by the ends and pulls it all the way down to free her head. “what-- i don’t--”
