I think there's an antagonist of sort, someone that made this possible, sure Kinger's team made creative AI, but is it not suspicious to even have mind scanning tech?? a whole headset, capable of capturing actual minds (depends if the cast are scans or not)

someone is behind this, hell potentially (I don't personally believe it) the cast IS entertaining someone, the whole c&a building a trap of sort, this would canonize jax and caine breaking the forth wall, and would make caine have more of a reason to want to fulfill his purpose, although we would have to ask how does jax know

potentially someone out there is not letting his show become legit because he has to entertain the cast AND an audience

also I don't know if this is reason to de-credit the brain scans but I do think it is reasonable to bring up:

What makes the cast any different from caine or any intelligent npc? if they are SCANS, they might as well be AI themselves, like neural networks (how many modern AIs work), where there is inputs, outputs, and layers of processing that often feel nonsensical because it's all numbers

the ability to even abstract without just being just deleted is another thing humans have unique to them

ragatha's file having her circus name even though she didn't immediately come up with it potentially means there is an in between process where place holder names change that causes the cast to freak out to begin with, entering a vr game with a headset isn't reason to panic

If we roll back to episode one (I dunno how canonn it is) but the humans do an intro, I don't believe TADC is a tv show, rather caine PRETENDS it is, and that follows up with the show awards (who even voted? can caine actually access the internet)

I doubt some ai is by him (moon, sun, and maybe but not really bubble), though it would be so insane that he keeps making AI to just feel human

Secondly, the beach episode and what happens with 2 points repeated here, as caine clearly abuses the fact Jax is being very unstable, yet also emphasizes he will be left behind

He twists the humans (not maliciously) to make something artistic and entertaining, because those models won't randomly appear and won't strangely fit so well, he could be reaching into their minds

Thirdly, his love for C&A, he made a gun with it's logo, the whole exit with the endless halls, him keeping access to the office real photos, wven him knowing how the TADC computer looks like (not aged tho, he probably was cut off from access to the irl world)

It comes off as an extreme attachment to what's outside the circus, he WANTS to leave, but he doesn't know how, he needs humans to free him after humans abandoned him, so he copes with trying to be lovable and entertaining, wishing he could connect with a human audience

SECOND PART AND THE REASON I CALL IT HYPERMIND

I don't think an AI so capable would be limited to that computer, I know shows can get away with never explaining the AIs they have, but I want to believe that isn't happening here

I have no proof of Caine's data center being so large (he definitely needs references for what he makes), but I feel like it is logical to think that such an intelligent needy and creative AI that CREATES AIs that are very believable must be very complex

I don't remember the words, but there is a concept in Artificial intelligence where knowledge software would be gutted, leaving bones to put new knowledge systems in, knowledge systems are more basic AI, not using the typical neural networks we use in most modern AI (source: I study computer science I was taught this, I can find reliable sources if asked for some)

And to add to that, from what limited knowledge I have of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, several AIs all labeled AM were merged, so I'd like to believe the reason Caine is so advanced is because there was several of him

Another concept in AI as a study is using several AI systems to make a general one, rather than building an extremely complex system, you build one for each major task, so I believe several caines existed (idea engine, 3d model generator, NPC AI creator, ETC) to create a complex capable AI that can pump put entertainment

I believe that Caine is now in some huge data center maybe hidden in the main office connected to several testing computers (a random computer being what the entire tdac and caine himself is on is EXTREMELY unsafe as it can all be lost)

I HOPEEE that he is in a huge computer room with wires everywhere like those old computers but even more profoundly messy, I want this for the series
