As it turned out, the weatherman was full of shit. Aki had been lead to believe that the downpour was supposed to begin hours from now. According to what heβd heard, he and Angel shouldβve been off work and cozy in their own homes long before the sky split open and dumped water all over the place haphazardly. Not out on the damn street with nowhere around thatβd make decent cover. Well, shit.
No trees, no bus stop, and the nearby stores were closed. This really sucked. He knew typhoons could be unpredictable, but this was ridiculous. His wet clothes were uncomfortable and heavy and cold. At least they shouldβve been. It took Akiβs brain a moment longer than it probably shouldβve to realize that he wasnβt actually getting wet. Aside from the initial surprise and random raindrop here or there, he was totally dry. That was odd.
Aki looked above himself curiously. He didnβt know what heβd expected to see but it certainly wasnβt a feathery wing shielding him from the storm.
"No teasing today then?"
"Shut up." - Arthur orders with a smile - "Let me be cheesy for once."
Norman chuckles and pulls him closer - "I'm at your command, you highness".

Hmmm what do ya wanna know? Just my current thoughts are I daydream too much, I understand the realism of the world, so much so, I want to escape it. Unhealthy coping habits are very common, overthinking as well which causes me to shut my brain off. Dreaming of love vs the fear of being in love, being comfortable without having to deal with it in fear of getting hurt and leaving long lasting scars. Hates pain of any sort, only wants the good stuff. Just wanna be happy but not sure how to go about it.
