i.She hadn’t expected to get that attached,not that quickly, at least. Scotland had beena whim. A last ditch effort at pulling her lifeback together. A hope and a prayer she hadn’t had the energy to fully invest in.

Not until she met Zed, anyway. And her outlookchanged so instantly it nearly made her head spin. She hadn’t expected it to be so easy. The first timeshe finds her lips against Zed’s, it’s as easy as breathing, and like taking her first breath all at once.And she thinks, for once — maybe she’ll stay. 

ii.Liv’s attempts at affection have always been awkwardand stumbling but her lips find her ways to Zed’s cheeklike a magnet, and it’s not difficult to continue from there.She likes being near her. Its warm. Comforting. And maybeaffection isn’t such a difficult thing after all. 

     There are a million and one QUESTIONS racing through     Achilles' head right now, from the basic to the  c o m p l e x      to the slightly immature, but the first thing out of his mouth     is:
