As the Nintendo eShop on the 3DS will be coming to a close next year, I wanted to put together a list of recommended DLCs for each of the Fire Emblem 3DS games. There are some obvious ones (Future Past for FEA comes to mind) but I want to hear from you all which DLCs you think are a “must have” from:
- Fire Emblem Awakening
- Fire Emblem Fates
- Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
I’ll then put together a list with some brief synopses and prices, so everyone can have a better idea of what to choose from. Thanks, everyone!
(I realize that the ability to add funds to the 3DS eShop wallet ended in August but it looks like there might be a Switch workaround? Will investigate further)
LUCIA IN FEH FINALLY
I’m only on the C Supports but Ophelia having her Forging Bonds convos with Lissa was an A+++ decision. On the other hand, I feel like there was a severely missed opportunity to have Dwyer speak with Lindhart (instead of including Fjorm AGAIN).
Fire Emblem Engage Thoughts
I cannot believe the leaks were real....
When the trailer started, I for sure thought it was going to be for some spin-off game that was FE Heroes or Tokyo Mirage Sessions-adjacent. I still can’t quite believe that this is for a mainline game.
I usually try not to judge too quickly, but there’s so many things I already don’t really like. Flat out, I don’t like the look of the protagonist and I don’t like how they’re relying so heavily on having old lords in the game. If it’s a spin-off, sure, but a mainline game? I’d rather they do another Echoes game with any of the previous titles.
It’s early but gonna be honest, I might be skipping this one. The animation looks gorgeous and I’m sure it’ll still be fun, but idk, it’s just not convincing me.

I’m sorry but the fact that everyone else’s extended family got character art for Warriors and they couldn’t bother giving Annette’s uncle anything other than a generic portrait in full armor is extremely funny and has me in tears every time he’s on screen.
So I finished my first playthrough of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes (Scarlet Blaze) and I have to say that I really loved this as a companion game to the original. I still have a ton of questions, which I’m sure will get answered on other routes, and it will be hilarious if I once again started with the route with the least answers. That said, the characters were great, I loved seeing new supports we didn’t see last time, and I had a ton of fun!
Onto the next two routes!
