If you’ve ever read a book, then you know how difficult it might be without a table of contents to see what chapter that what you seek, might be in. It’s so hard to keep track of where to keep my spells and my tarot card meanings. So for my physical Book of Shadows, I will be having a table of contents. 

Easiest way to do this is to write how many chapters you want down on a scratch piece of paper. Title these chapters, order them in how you think is best, and then allow yourself at least 10-20 pages for each chapter depending on what it is. Like for my first chapter, it will probably only be a few pages long at most. But for my tarot and tea, I will need at least 20-50 pages, considering I’m one of those witches who almost always forgets the meaning of a certain card, so I definitely want to incorporate that into my grimoire for reference. The tea part is what to pair with certain rituals. That should only be like 1 page but the card meanings are gonna bite me in the witchy ass.

For this blog, there won’t be a table of contents just because it’s a blog and you can easily search tags or taglines. I always will add tags to the bottom of my posts for the convenience of both of us. Trust me, it’s hard enough keeping a physical book in order let alone the truly endlessness of the internet.

Here’s the table of contents for my physical grimoire though, just to give you an idea for your own. I customized this to things I will use or want to learn. and of course after all the chapters are through, I will leave the rest of my pages for spells and rituals. I mean a witch can’t have too many rituals, am I right?!
