Just found out that a recent android update brought CINTIQ-like dual monitor functionality to the Tab S7 (and other Samsung tablets)!!  You can now use your Tab S7 as a 2nd PC Monitor, AND get full functionality out of the touch gestures / S pen.

It’s p easy on windows 10:

1)  (on Tab S) Swipe down your quick settings menu, and between screen recorder and sync, you’ll find second screen.  enable that.  You will be on a sort of ‘syncing’ screen basically. leave the tablet just like that.

2) now, on PC, press [windows key] + [K] to bring up the ‘connect’ menu.  (u need to have wifi enabled on your pc!  but you dont have to be USING wifi for your internet.  It uses wifi to find the tablet by default.  not sure if u can use a cable, but hope so?)  

3)  Once connected, there will be new options on the ‘connect’ menu.  u might have to press windows+K again to see them.  You will wanna check the box that says “Allow mouse.... etc etc” and then select ‘change projection mode’

Duplicate - It’s like using your tablet to possess your PC.  Very straight forward option.

Extend -  More like ‘dual monitor’ feeling option.  You have to click and drag the programs you want on your tablet, over to the side of the screen and they will appear on the tablet.  Might feel weird at first but seems VERY useful for multitasking.

There’s two other options i didnt really investigate. lemme know if they’re cool or smthn

4) Your pen pressure / Gesture control in programs RELIES ON WINDOWS INK.  If you disabled Win Ink on your art software to be compatible with a wacom or something, you are gonna need to re-enable it to get it working!  Clip studio is super easy, just go preferences, then select ‘Tablet PC’ instead of Win Tab.   For Photoshop, get rid of the PSUserConfig txt file, which is a work-around you may have used in the past. dont worry if you dont know what im talkin about, you probs didnt do that :)  

NO JOKE, SO MANY PEOPLE probably need to re-enable windows ink tho, because you almost always had to override it to use other tablets before.  If shit is broke for you, figure out how to enable windows ink on your program of choice.  thats probably where the problems are coming from.
