A ta’veren like Rand al’Thor actually inside the White Tower? A thought to make a stone tremble. However it had turned out, disaster would surely have been too mild a word. The price paid at Dumai’s Wells was small enough, for avoiding that.
Fascinating point of view.
I wonder what impact he would have had. Would the fracturing have been repaired, or accelerated? His effects on the world seem to stem from his mood, and his mood would have been very dark after his mistreatment. I'm leaning towards the White Tower crumbles, just from Rand al'Thor's presence as a prisoner.
Wasn't it one of Min's visions that the ta'veren trio needed to stay together to win? I think perhaps her vision was misinterpreted, because they do much better with divide and conquer. So perhaps her vision was really about them remaining allies, and working together towards common goals. They had to accept their intertwined nature before they could separate, which is why Mat is the last to leave. So long as he refuses his fate, he is stuck by Rand's side. As soon as he accepts his role, he is able to move away and pursue a different path.
WOT episode 2 but instead of solemnly singing Weep for Manetheren, the ta'veren (Mat) break out in the hiiiilllllllsssss of tanchicooooooo

Basel Gill feeling a little of that ta'veren influence when he stands up to the Whitecloaks is adorable. He turns around and wonders where that came from. My good man, it came from within yourself. That ta'veren standing next to you just allowed it to flow forth, instead of getting stopped up by nerves.
consider: if the three male ta'veren arent all neurodivergent why do they all think the other two are vastly better at interacting with at least 50% of the human population
I'm basically supportive of the show's decision to make Nynaeve and Egwene ta'veren, to match the three boys. But I feel like among the fandom, there's a divergence in rationale for the change.
For me, it makes sense because Nynaeve has basically always been ta'veren (even more than Egwene). How much random insane bullshit has Nynaeve gotten herself into that she barely managed to get out of? (Randomly running into Moghedien in Tanchico, being the one to knock Birgitte from TAR, being in the right frame of mind to cure Stilling, and so-on).
For a lot of others, I get this sense of "that Nynaeve and Egwene are not ta'veren is unjust and makes them less than the boys". And thus, making them ta'veren rights some sort of fundamental wrong in the story.
