god sometimes ill think about the natsuyuu ep where they showed natsume living at the relatives' house before touko and shigeru and i just . so much happened in one single episode i truly dont know how i got through it like?? i really will never recover from that. natsume's level of selflessness and consideration for others no matter who they are or what they've done makes me want to CRY. the relatives (the adults anyway) that he lived with in that household showed that they didnt like him and they didnt care about him... they saw him as a bother and wanted him gone, they didn't see any value in his as a person. when they found out that touko and shigeru wanted to take natsume in and the guy was like 'why would they want him, is it for the money??' i almost exploded on the spot because wtf!!!!!!!!
and like . oh my god . i will never forget this unfortunately but towards the end of the flashback when natsume successfully sealed the youkai that tried to take him away, he got hurt and had to go to the hospital and his foster mother was like 'why did he do this?? did he do this to hurt us??' HHHHHHHHHHH I???? HELLO??? im going to go insane ^__^ like !!!! ?!?!?!?!? im ???? what??????? are you kidding ?????? like . oh my god . i still cant believe she said that like my god... HOW could you think he'd do that... and it drives me crazy BECAUSE when natsume was approached by the youkai and told that he was going to be taken away by it, natsume was so conflicted because he did want to leave because a. i guess like he didnt want trouble with the youkai b. he didnt ))): feel wanted and thought it'd be best to leave ;---; and while he was thinking it all over, he was worried about how his absence would affect the family,,, like if he was going to leave he wouldnt want it to trouble them and im diddhdjdj like even after they've shown they dont care about him he still shows consideration for them i cant do this
