Morally ambigigous, bored, and seeking thrills, once big cat trapper Thomas Blake decided to become Catman, a super-villain cloaked in a mystic cape that gave him nine lives. After years of fighting the Batman and losing, he became a joke to heroes and villains alike. Desperate to rekindle his confidence, he retreated back to Africa, living a life of simplicity within a pride of lions. He gladly wouldve spent the rest of time alongside his pride, but Lex Luthor had other plans. When Blake refused the Secret Society of Super-Villains when they demanded he join their ranks, they had his entire pride slaughtered in retaliation. Outraged, Blake became Catman once again, and soon found himself allied with the criminal team known as the Secret Six. Catman now hunts and punishes those who he believes abuse their power... whether hero or villain.
