FAVORITE COLOR: It used to be exclusively green but now as long as it’s a dark color I love it

AVERAGE TIME OF SLEEP: probably around 7 hours? I get anywhere from 5 to 8 depending on my mindset and how busy I am 

LAST THING I GOOGLED:  I was researching the laws of thermodynamics for my environmental science notes 

CELEBRITY CRUSH: oh man, I can’t choose a specific one. literally the entire Carmilla cast, T&S Quin, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Josh Dun, Halsey, Kit Harington, Emilia Clark, Chris Pratt, the list goes on and on tbh 

FAVORITE BOOKS: this is a difficult question to answer.. I’d have to say ender’s game or the harry potter series

FAVORITE BANDS/ARTISTS: Tegan and Sara are my smol canadian faves and have been for years now, and i’ve been listening to Halsey on repeat lately and she’s role model as hell, so yeah those two bands. Paramore and Twenty One Pilots are super cool too. 

LAST MOVIE I SAW IN THEATERS: Pitch Perfect 2 I think

DREAM TRIP: New Zealand is so stunning and full of natural beauty just wo w. I’d love to take a trip there to camp and hike. Switzerland and Spain are up there too. 

I’ll be honest with you, I don’t like it when people call others ugly. My whole life I’ve been hard pressed to look at people and think that they are pretty or handsome, beautiful or attractive just by their outer appearance. But, there is something revealing when you talk to a person, more than what they look like on the outside, you get to experience that person on another level and that is so incredibly special. It’s bit frustrating to convey this since I don’t quite know how to say it, but the way that a person smiles, their eyes, their laugh, the way they breathe, or walk, the small movements they make that they’re not completely aware of when they’re just LIVING are so frustratingly alluring- they’re beautiful. The way that peoples’ faces change when they think about something, anything,  is so marvelous. That a person has life and is able to do these kinds of things is one of the greater gifts I have ever known and learned to appreciate. 

In short, I “don’t get” the assumption that there must be pretty people and there must be ugly people. That a person must be called ugly because they are not pretty is confounding to me. That the little alternative acknowledgment of beauty beyond the superficial still makes the people it attempts to comfort feel patronized is unnecessary. Because you, truly, are stunning and precious beyond words. Breathtaking in every aspect of your being, and compelling to those who know and have learned how to perceive that. Each individual life, different and unique, is worth more than I can begin to describe and it makes me honored to be able to partake in the lives that everyone leads, if ever so briefly. I cannot, for even a moment, consider any of that ugly in the least.
