Single Cup Coffee Options in Ohio Gaining Steam
Maybe you have noticed. Maybe you haven't. But if you are an employee in an office or the actual owner/president of a business, coffee isn't quite what it used to be. Now, that doesn't it mean it isn't as good - in fact, the opposite is true. Coffee (and tea) is better than ever before. But how it is served has changed. The days of hosting multiple coffee pots (or even worse, one pot - ugh!) are starting to end and in their place is the rise of the single cup coffee revolution.
With Keurig K-Cups and Tassimo T-Discs, employees can make their own cup of coffee quickly and cleanly. Less overall space is taken up since their is no cumbersome pot that needs cleaning, and of course, there are individual flavor options for people to enjoy. So, yes, basically under every criteria set, single cup brewers are superior to traditional brewers. But what about the cost? Is that where things go astray?
The answer is a definitive "no." Actually, some office managers might make the argument that single cup coffee brewers for K-Cups and T-Discs are cost-effective since there is less time wasted in overall maintenance and also because less overall coffee is actually wasted. And that point makes sense to a degree because how many times have you been in an office where a full pot of coffee sits around all day long just to be thrown down the drain before everyone leaves?
The bottom line is that while there will always be businesses in Ohio and Cleveland that prefer traditional brewers and decanter brewers, more and more offices are going towards single cup solutions. Traditional brewers will always have their place whether it's because of small office size or company policy. But what makes single cup brewers, especially in the Northeast Ohio/Cleveland areas, so attractive is their versatility. Multiple flavors of coffee, different coffee brands, instant tea, Green Tea, and even hot chocolate can all be brewed inside of a minute with a single cup coffee machine. And as mentioned above, clean-up is too easy to even mention, regardless if it is a K-cup or a T-Disc.
