So since ep 13 and 14..and 15/ep 16 promo those are big cinamatic/conclusion to Michonne and Carol (arc) episodes it’s all dlskfjsajf 😌😍 It’s crazy. It really is another change to the show. 

I knew...I knew once Michonne leaves the whole Grimes main characters-feel of it will end. Michonne connects to a lot of TF since s3 and Grimes (Carl and Rick -leads of the show). Yeah Judith and RJ are like a lil reminder of Rick’s legacy but it felt like it ended when Michonne left. Judith and RJ are just a small part..since s9 I guess. And I guess they are there as lil reminders till end of the series. And that series is changing. It’s ukno like a spinoff show again since s8-9.

So the show ...s10 felt like a Caryl show or Atlanta two show. Michonne’s episodes was spread out and not really with TF but her last ep was really a final ep to her on the show. BTW, I’m happy that she’s still be part of TWD universe and most likely be in the movies! It’s like my speculations/theories are kinda happening, I think. Anyway I really like ep13. It felt very cinematic and emotional. I think/hope the movies are like everyone is there and we get a big all ending. Well, Grimes’s ending. 

And so in ep 14 and on...it’s like ahh dang the show is changing. Sigh I felt weird about it. Like I really only care about a few and Caryl. I don’t care..I want TWD ending. This show/franchise is frustrating. Then the ep 16 promo happened and I see Maggie. I’m just like yeah I felt a bit better? or like oh ok the show still feels TWD-ish to me. We’re gonna have three originals back again kinda. s10 Caryl and Michonne. s11 is Caryl and Maggie. I guess I don’t like it to be just Caryl leading or...just show barely any originals or first TF people in the show.I want to it to be TWD family show with ones we know a long time. IDK. And yet with having Caryl and Maggie leading, it still doesn’t seem like it’s TWD-ish. Those three are not main leads. It’s always been Rick and Carl. They do not relate to Grimes..or like Michonne ukno... Ok Idk. Another thing it’s different. Caryl and Maggie were not main leads...Caryl were always supporting characters. Maggie was the other leader and away and (argh AMC) ...I think Maggie will be like a new character in s11..kinda bringing new communities and stuff on the other side...away from TF a bit. Maybe things will seem back to TF again later in s11 (like Morgan).  Anyway, the show is changing and writers have to change the characters too. Already Daryl is like the lead and we saw a lot of focus on Carol’s angsty arc and how she dealt with it. 

anyway i wanna reblog all caryl richonne/fam posts. dsklfajlfj just :( dumb show/franchise. i like all u guys’ art and thoughts. s10 is frustrating. it’s a lot of caryl like im not used to it. wtf. idk how grimes/movies will go. ehh franchise.

Maybe not look at TWD big spoilers till after ep 5 airs? :\  I miss TWD and TF. The good times. :\ I wanna detach the show and just move on. But really that’s in late Nov. ugh Everything TWD stuff and the waiting is all emotional to handle. blah.

Everything is all “a little too LATE” :[ I see improvement in s9 but it’s those 5-6 episodes that’s probably the ones that looks better. They’re teasing Caryl but it’s too late if they become canon later in the series, TWD isn’t the same. They’re showing a lot on TF and Richonne, but Rick will be gone and it’s not the same anymore. Seeing so much of Rick, MIchonne and Judith is great but we don’t see them with Judith often but it really shows how writers did it for “Rick’s last episodes” but it also shows that I freaking miss Carl. Carl is often with Judith. Well I like those scenes anyway, I hope there’s a ILU scene between Richonne again. 

Ratings are going down low as s1. It’s common for an old show. There’s a lot of reasons why it went down. 

-fans are tired of the people vs people, not about zombies (even though that’s how comics go)

-fans are tired of dragged out storylines -Negan/AOW. It’s also been nine years. 

-Negan lived (not explained well...blah writings)

-blah writings, OOC characters

-Team Family not interacting a lot

-----some are disappointed what they did with Carol....like Carol is with Zeke and not Caryl.

-memorable developed characters die (Glenn, Abraham, Sasha) We have a lot of blah characters and mains are dead. 

-Carl dies. He’s the hope of the show. Usually the father/mentor dies and the son/student leads.

-Most fans are spoiled that Rick will depart/dies in s9. They don’t wanna see him die or think it’s pointless to start the season anyway-just pretend s8 was the series finale. They don’t know when he will depart either. So ep 5 will be really low I’m guessing. 

It just sucks that TWD won't end with Rick ..on s8 or 9 and like I'm assuming it's a sad ending of his story too. The series is long enough. But AMC wants to go longer even without the Grimes.

I wish we get official news now instead of like July. Anyways I'm suspecting Andy (and others too?) wants to leave or just know when is the endgame. It's been 9 years. But AMC/writers want to keep going on for like 5 more seasons. So I guess he just made his own endgame for Rick. The show could have just end it s8 and make a spin-off show or something. It's just all a bummer.

It really does seem like ‘creative differences’ or something between AL and AMC. idk what anyone would do if making a show and the lead actor/main character wants to leave before the show/story ends. (another ex. is if something bad happens to the actor ............or I guess a show get cancelled or show went a total different direction that I don’t like as a fan.) The story didn’t get to end well.

But also for TWD, it’s been 9 years and other actors sound like they wanna leave or know the endgame(LC) and I just think writers would want to end the show when it’s still good. (like Scandal. Lost(?) And there’s shows that planned their final season and finale even though they may want to keep going. Fringe.)

Sigh show business. It’s always hard for the TV fans. We are most likely get duped in the end. sigh..it’s like lately I hate stories. The game of trusting writers is tiring. But I’ll get through it. I think it all depends how attached, emotionally invested, (i blame being part of fandom..tumblr....fanfictions) I am to the story and characters. Stories are just stories. I can make a headcanon ending and all that. We are all still here fan of the show (in some parts). Like I will always love these characters and ship these pairings in the shows even though the show/story canonly didn’t end well, imo.

Anyways I feel kinda embarrassed for TWD writers and me not really understanding “team family” moments until now. I feel silly for being excited for when the main characters interact like in s8 finale. When it should be the normal. I guess I forgot. It’s been like s6 since it’s TF hanging out together like the normal. I was thinking of other drama shows like TWD, recently. I thought wow fans really know their main characters. You see the same group of main characters for a long time and ..like you know main story players that moves the story. Shows like OTH, Scandal,Fringe, Friends, etc. had the same main characters for years.  Small group too.

Idk maybe it’s a writers’ style. Some shows change their main characters group from time to time. Like they’re survival shows or ..just different story. I think of OUAT, LOST, The 100. 

So with TWD, I feel like the Team Family group is always changing and we really don’t know who’s the main players/characters of the story anymore. TWD is in extreme way of not really knowing your main group, imo. 

Main groups tend to be like grouped of ships and families. Also to be the longest ones on the show. Like the TWD main cast (ex. Atlanta group) are Richonne, Caryl, and Maggie. But they don’t hang out together all the time and it was not planned for them in the beginning to be them till the end of show. It’s different kind of show/story. It’s Rick’s story. 

So Idk, yeah I want TWD do their own thing but I feel like TWD needs to change on that “team family” or main group..since compared to other shows we see the main group more ..and it feels like tighter stories..good writing that way. Seems like Maggie and Carol are one of the supporting characters. Like who’s the main group / character? kind of thing. It’s like not clear. 

I wonder Kang as showrunner and Gimple as chief, will we see much difference in s9 based on Kang’s showrunning. (plus s9 is gonna be different anyways with that it’s A New Beginning). Maybe Kang will keep the “team family” small and sweet, and have a huge death scene to cut up the list of characters to the ones we care about for years. Instead of like 15 main characters~. idk and idk if i trust Kang’s writing too. erm.

Yeah I’m overthinking. People kept saying they want Carol back with Team Family. But, first, I kept thinking is that they should look at the comics and see what Kirkman did. He spreads characters out. Comic stories medium are told differently. Idk just see where it goes.Blame on Kirkman? Remember it’s Rick’s story? But the comics has a small group of main characters.

 I do think s9 with TF, it may be better. TF are more together in that arc. Second, I think when people say Carol with TF, they mean Carol with the main group. Carol with Rick, Maggie, Daryl, Michonne. Third, I don’t think Carol is the only one who doesn’t hang out with TF. (dudebro writing) Maggie doesn’t interact much with TF either.  Michonne doesn’t interact a lot with the other TF even though she’s in ASZ. Barely any consistent strong lady interactions.  I love Tara and Rosita’s relationship but they’re subtle and that’s just one. (others like Sasha is dead) Under Gimple’s showrunning I guess, a lot of the main characters were in bottle episodes, slow paced arcs in ep with few characters and supporting characters.

uh this is just my first posts that I wrote on TSDF about the s8 finale. It’s in order. I repeat some stuff.

I just wanna vent it out because the finale was so confusing to me. If things were like fine and made sense like I was suspecting..then I wouldn’t rant so much or whatever. It feels like I was watched The Last JedI/rant
