i have. some thoughts on endogenics
i think. being anti endogenic is a really slippery slope. if we take what its core message is (we arent getting our recognition, rights, etc because of them) its a pretty bad look.
when challenging yourself, you cant look at specifics. you need to look at the bigger message of what youre saying.
- i am the real one. you are the fake one.
- i think your inclusion hurts my community.
- i dont think you deserve resources.
can you look at a blog in the endo tag right now and dm it to them? off anon? right in front of them, person to person?
do you forget what your words do to them? what it does to you? do you truly think youre getting somewhere? that you can change them? that youre more cooler, less hurt, and less traumatized if you hurt someone else?
i think. its understandable, especially in communities full of trauma, that you are hurt and the hurt trickles down to your posting, your messages, your content online. i dont know you. i probably never will. but i know you hurt and i wish i could make it stop. but only you can do that.
if we have the power to be accepted, we have the power to be accepting. we arent perfect everyday. lord knows i have my triggers. but something we need to realize is that a community isnt built on isolation. we build together. everyone, or no one.
