I think a lot of people miss the point of how lovely it is when someone is unaware of their own beauty, because it's generally stated by men with an underlying sexist viewpoint towards women that suggests women's self-perceived desirability should revolve around the male gaze.
Aside from that narrative, however, is the idea of someone being unaware of their beauty and, equally... ugliness. The beauty of not being hyper-vigilant and constantly fixing your physical presence to be more appealing. Accepting and loving yourself in totality in a way that's passive and allows you to focus on less superficial things such as your feelings in each moment; the joy, pain, fulfillment - so that you're more free to just enjoy your life without concern about how you look while doing so.
