All things considered, he makes quite a bit of money with the deals he makes... and now that he's involved with the Once-ler's plans and deals (the dirty work, primarily, but still), it's only getting heavier. He has an expensive apartment currently, because it's hard to judge permanence. But it's definitely a nice one, and constantly being taken care of!
