first off, HI!! this is a perfect one for sykobe, thank you for the ask 🩵
the one constant about sykobe's character over the year is his comfort person. through all his crimes and misadventures, waves is his person that will always snap him back to reality.
sykobe is comforted by sound. he is visually impaired, not to a point of blindness but he does choose to rely on sound way more, especially with togrutas being capable of echolocation. with this in mind, what comforts sykobe the most is when he is with his emotional support clone and gets to press his montrals up against waves' chest. all other sound is blocked out; it's just sykobe safely tucked away in the arms of his companion, lulled to sleep by waves' steady heartbeat. it reassures him that waves is still alive and well, which is invaluable in a galaxy where anything can change in a blink of an eye (and because he is very aware of waves and his fainting disorder. he likes his emotional support clone not collapsing on the spot and hitting his head on hard objects. theoretically, sykobe is a trained service togruta).
currently, sykobe is currently very imprisoned on coruscant, therefore very much separated from waves, his comfort is not accessible, which is part of the reason he is the way he is (feral and only mildly deranged). one of his only other comforts is wrapping his lekku around his neck. it protects a vulnerable spot (throat), and with togrutas being predators, protecting the neck and throat is a must. while it's nowhere near as comforting as being in the presence of His Person, it is enough to keep him from freaking out when he is in desperate need of relief.

so i remade one of my old characters
at this point i redesign sykobe every week LOL. im never happy. striving for something that is unique. i was drawing a random doodle and suddenly the idea hit me like a train: i can recycle my own designs. so recycle my own designs i did.
