Chad prompt: Star and Diamond play mini golf?
“Do not tell Connie.”
It’s a calm spring day. The kind of day where nothing exciting should happen and you should enjoy a boardwalk, or a movie, or minigrolf. You should create an uneventful event soon forgotten.
Or, if one happens to be a particularly strong magic rock - one could instead spend ten minutes listening to your other half make such comments as “turn off the walls hack” and “it’s cheating if you have a HUD”. You could even listen to one especially infuriating quip while he holds onto a minigolf statue of a robot and saying “I found your twin.”
Perhaps if all that had happened to you, you could lose your temper on the next hole and hit the ball with everything you have, and knock a hole directly through the robot’s ugly mouth, leaving him looking permanently surprised.
And if all that happens, your primary concern might be ensuring your girlfriend doesn’t find out, which would lead you to say, “Do not tell Connie” to your gleeful looking other half.
“I’m telling Connie,” Star says, whipping out his phone.
And really, it should be a very mundane kind of day but it isn’t. It’s the kind of day where Star and Diamond end up rolling around on a minigolf green, yanking a phone back and forth until security asks them to leave.
“I wasn’t really gonna show her,” Star says, and Diamond wishes he has another ball to smack.
