I keep posting the heroes but Coll has his share of villains. Here is a sketch of the Necromancer Belos from this morning.
Iāve been plugging away on Coll pages. I have a ton of thumbnails and layouts and know exactly where this story is going. That said Iām directing a series of commercials for a video game and Iām writing a commissioned script for a feature film. My brain is definitely being pulled in a few different directions right now so Iāve had to sit down and make a game plan. Unfortunately the ranking breaks down as 1.Commercials 2.Script leaving 3.Working on Coll comics . With a family to feed and support and a dedicated awesome wife that puts up with way too much nonsense I have to put the paying gigs at the top of the queue. I will still be drawing a few pages a day and on the days when full pages of Coll are too much to tackle Iāve started working on a one-shot comic about a dungeon explorer that I am drawing on post it notes. It gives me something to do to stay sharp. Working on my own comic has become very important to me and I want to arrive at a place where what plays in my head all day reaches the page. Itās a lot of blood, sweat and tears, self doubt and angst. Iāve met some great people in the last few years through comics and I really love the energy and creativity I see every day in the comics community. Iāve had a lifelong love of film and comics and Iām finding that although working on comics can be extremely demanding it is immediate and infinitely rewarding. Iāve filled 7 sketchbooks with work on Coll not to mention the pages piling up in our little apartment. Iāve delayed putting Coll up as a webcomic if only because Iām fixing to level up the art on this next iteration. Thanks for hanging in there and paying attention to any of this work. Especially the people whoāve put up their hard earned dough to buy our books at the various expos weāve attended. It means a lot. Stick with me and with Coll, good things are coming.

As I work on the follow-up book (news to come) Iāve taken the time to go back and make some changes to the first novel. Both to make sure the novels remain consistent but also because I want the books to be the best they can be as I grow as a writer.
Necrophobia has been updated with some significant changes: Story elements have been clarified or reworded, certain scenes have been expanded to enhance either the story or the characterisation, minor formatting and grammar errors have been corrected. Itās the same book but better, sleeker and more polished.
Updating: Ā If you own the book you will not have to repurchase the book. If you have automatic updates turned on you should be able to download the latest version. Turning on automatic updates should also force an update for the novel. Manual updates differ from e-reader to e-reader but aĀ ācheck for updatesā option should be available for all e-readers.
If you donāt own the book: The ebook will be on sale from 4th-8th of November.
