Introducing the next Michael Phelps... or maybe not quite, but give him time! My eldest son may not have set any world records (yet) in his 400m freestyle race with the Saskatoon Goldfins, but he sure gave it his all. Just look at that blurry, zoomed-in photo for proof. Swimming isn't easy, folks. It takes grit, determination, and a whole lot of chlorine. I'm proud of all the hard work and endless training Sebastian put in to get to this point. I am so proud of my progress and I feel more comfortable in the water each week. However I have made the decision not to race next week. I don’t want to sacrifice how far I have come to push beyond where I am at and hope that it’s a good experience. I am not good with too many unknowns right now. So for now I will continue swimming with the ladies and building my strength and confidence!
