   ASH  VS  THE EVIL DEAD  //  accepting ! 

          SHE  scowls down at the glass in her hand, as if it’s somehow personally offended her ( it could never ) --- then again, she always seems to be wearing some sort of scowl. Her fingers tap against the crystalline surface, rhythmic in its impatience. 

                  ❛   Destiny... Such an ugly word.  ❜   Indeed, she repeats it back in the same manner one might chew on glass. 

          There was a time she believed in destiny; they all believed, back then, that they were born to change the world --- to make things just a little more bearable --- and that outlook was contagious. The truth of the matter, Vodka thinks, is that destiny was a beautiful word that could be used to excuse just about anything. 

The unmistakable sound of something solid hitting wood, followed by the whooping laughter of Eton Mess, a food soul currently preoccupied with what he would somehow consider to be solo batting practice. In the absence of a cricket ball, the blond had taken to using any old rock he found on the ground that may have been decently sized, which made it a fairly dangerous game for any unwitting persons who happened to be nearby. 

Reaching down to pluck another rock from the small pile he had gathered beside him for a second swing, Eton stretched his arms before tossing it upwards with a soft “hup!”, only to hit it once it neared the ground. 

Rocketing forwards ( haha, get it? ) this one was a hard hit indeed! 

Too bad he wasn’t exactly paying attention to his surroundings. Someone was approaching, and the rock he’d sent whizzing through the air had only missed them by a few feet!

          “Wah! Watch out! Are you alright?”

A surprise like that must have been really scary!
