Distinguished LGBTQ+ guests, ladies and gentlemen…we’ve made it to Holy Week; starting with Palm Sunday when Yeshua rode into Jerusalem on a donkey with everyone waving palm branches and shouting joyfully, “Hosanna!” Little did we know that this special week would turn out different with angry and murderous shouts of “Crucify Him!” He would eventually lay down His very life for all of us—and not just the straight cisgender Christians—-ALL of us who are different; drag queens and kings, those with disabilities, people of colour, women, women of color, children, LGBTQ+ people and children who are fighting like hell to exist in this dark time we’re living in while the Republican Party is passing cruel, unjust and evil bills to justify their bigotry and hate. Let us journey through this week and remember what Yeshua did out of love.

So ‘ere are my thoughts on Miss Valieva’s situation—I did hear that she was banned from competing for four years due to taking an illegal drug and tested positive for it. It’s not her fault and I blame the coaches for blowing it for her. I just hope that the Americans and Japanese athletes have earned their respected medals. They are still waiting for that chance.
