Sigurd knew that he had just done the most stupid thing ever. He panicked for some reason and now he needed Tino. He was the only one who could help him out.
He was in a college party and he couldnāt be more anxious. All of the sudden, he felt that someone touched his should and immediately turned around.
āThank Godā¦ā Sigurd was relief to find out it was Tino.
āWhatās the matter?ā Tino was confused with Sigurdās attitude.
āI need a big favor. I swear Iām not going to ask you anything ever againā Sigurd quickly explained.
āWhatās up?ā Tino really wanted to know what was going on Sigurdās mind but he guessed that he would give him a better explanation.
āJust pretend to be my date, please. I told this hot guy that I was already seeing someoneā Sigurd was ashamed of himself.
āWhy would you do that?!ā Tino raised his voice because he couldnāt believe it.
āBecause Iām stupid. Itās not like hot guys ask me out every single day of my lifeā Sigurd admitted āPleaseā He begged. He was desperate.
Tino couldnāt say no to his best friend. Nothing bad could happen, right? He wanted to laugh but he had to control himself.
āGive me your hand thenā Tino requested.
āWhat?ā Sigurd was confused with that answer.
āBoyfriends grab each otherās hands, sillyā Tino explained before grabbing Sigurdās hand.
They walked around like that for a while. Sigurd couldnāt stop looking at the Dane who was the guy who asked him out before. He was indeed good looking and apparently funny because he was making a bunch of people laugh.
Both of them remained closely so nobody could approach them separately.
But Tino and Sigurd had forgotten a big detail. A very tall and Swedish detail.
Berwald entered the place and looked for Tino. He was confused to say the least when he saw Tino and Sigurd being so close. Did he miss something? Or was his boyfriend cheating on him in front of everyone?
He frowned and went straight were the ācoupleā was.
Tino realized too late what was going on.
āOh my godā He said before trying to run from the place. But he knew they couldnāt escape. Berwald already saw them.
The Swedish man wasnāt the only one who has paying attention to them. Magnus was also staring at them. There was something that didnāt fit between those two but he couldnāt figure out what was it. When he saw that Berwald, one of his classmates, were approaching to them he decided to get near. There was something off.
āWhatās going on?ā Berwald wasnāt pissed off. He was just felt so disappointed.
āBer, thereās a logical explanation for all thisā Tino was getting nervous and then looked to Sigurd, hoping that he would help him.
āIām sure there isā Berwald responded with that monotone voice that characterized him.
Tino couldnāt tell if he was mad or something and that was the worst feeling ever.
āIām sorry. This is all my fault. I asked Tino to pretend to be my dateāā But Sigurd couldnāt finish what he was saying.
āAha! I knew you were lying!ā Magnus shouted and pointed out at Sigurd.
Berwald was even more confused if that it was even possible.
āI donāt understandā He looked at Magnus and then to Sigurd.
Tino grabbed his boyfriendās hand.
āCome on. Letās go outside and Iāll explain the whole situation, okay?ā Tino proposed to Berwald āItās just a big misunderstandingā He promised.
Berwald didnāt say anything and just follow the Finn to the outside.
Meanwhile, Sigurd wasnāt ready to face Magnus.
āYou lied to meā Magnus repeated himself. He wanted an explanation.
āYes, I didā Sigurd was playing with his hand, trying to come out with something clever.
āWhy? Iām a big guy. I can handle rejectionsā Magnus was not telling the truth at all. He had a crush on Sigurd since the first day at college and the idea of Sigurd having a boyfriend devastated him.
He was always impressed on how well Sigurd speak up during classes and his projects were always near perfect. And he was so handsome. They had talked a couple of times and Magnus always so amazed on how smart Sigurd was.
āBecause I freaked out, okay? I freaked outā Sigurd wasnāt proud of it.
āWhy? Did I do something wrong? Iām so sorry! I didnāt mean to beā¦ You know. So push overā Magnus sincerely apologized. The last thing that he wanted to do was make Sigurd uncomfortable with him.
Sigurd kept looking at the floor.
āHot guys donāt usually ask me out. You are the first oneā¦ā Sigurd confessed. It had to be the alcohol that made him so sincere. Or at least, he was going to blame the beer for that.
āWell, some guys have bad taste. I donātā Magnus knew it was risky to say that but he decided to take the chance anyways.
āIf you say soā¦ā Sigurd wasnāt sure what to say next.
āDo you want to see a cool place that I found? We can see the stars and we can talkā¦ if you wantā Magnus thought that a quieter place would be nice for both of them.
āEven though I lied to you, do you still want to hang out with me?ā Sigurd gave him a quick glance.
Magnus grabbed him by the shoulder.
āYes. Yes, I doā Magnus smiled with confidence āCome on. Itās going to be funā He insisted. Magnus wanted to share time with him. That was all.
āLetās go. But you are going to held responsible if something bad happensā Sigurd warned him before following him.
Sigurd couldnāt believe his luck. That party wasnāt going as bad as he had expect it to be. But he wasnāt going to admit that at all. Maybe someday but not tonight.
