One from the archives going back to 2007, this Desert Gold and Canyon Blue at Little Rock National Airport. Southwest’s original livery (nicknamed “Mustard Rocket”) dates back to its founding in 1971 and the introduction of the second livery, the Canyon Blue scheme, on 16 January 2001, coincided with the celebration of Southwest’s 30th anniversary. Not many liveries in the airline industry have lasted 30 years (American’s prior livery comes immediately to mind and it came out right around the same time Southwest was founded in 1971, replacing the Astrojet livery). I believe the repainting the Canyon Blue livery at Southwest was completed sometime in 2010. #Avgeek #aviation #aircraft #planeporn #KLIT #LIT #LittleRock #Arkansas #airport #planespotting #instaplane #instagramaviation #Avgeekery #Boeing #737 #Southwest #SWApics #splendid_transport #instaaviation #aviationlovers #aviationphotography #flight #AvgeekSchoolofKnowledge (at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport Adams Field Little Rock National Airport Main Number)
