I just got tumblr recently and first of all i wanna say your whole account is just gorgeous! and since I'm pretty new I was wondering if everyone creates a photo banner everytime they make a post? like the three photos that fit the vibe of the story, do people lay those out themselves on another app and then upload them here? thank you!
hi !! welcome to the hell that is tumblr HAHA but thank u sm!! and making a banner for ur story is totally up to u but for me yeah!! i mostly select photos that try to fit with the vibe/aesthetic of the fic. it actually took me like MONTHS to learn u can just insert photos into the post and click and drag until they're side by side, which is how i did my pinned post (u can also insert gifs too for the banner)!
however for me before i discovered u can do that i use this website called befunky.com - its free and u can create three-photo collages !! i actually still use it to create my banners since i can adjust the photos to my liking. but yes, u can just insert any 3 photos of ur choice and click and drag them until they are side by side <3
