He’s.....Not a very talented dude lmaoWhy Someone Might Love Them: For all his shortcomings, Sven is a very genuine guy; he’s gentle and loving and is very quick to reciprocate any warmth shown to him tenfold. He’s good at seeing the best in people.Why Someone Might Hate Them: He’s cowardly, panicky, and weak of will, which makes you an easy target when you spend your days amongst the heroic bastards which the rebellion seems to be made of. He places the preservation of himself and his friends over that of strangers, which scores him a decent amount of disdain. How They Change: Whilst he never truly grasps the nobility of self sacrifice which the rebellion seems to be all about (spoiler; it’s not and Mari is just an asshole), he does get very good at talking himself out of situations which he would have once fled from in panic.Why You Love Them: He sort of just represents that it’s okay to put yourself first sometimes, and that’s something I need to remember. Sven doesn’t need to be a hero, he just wants to be a friend, and this has just sort of always made him one of my faves kjgfhjfjk
