Hold up, your 'ecofascism 101' mentions stuff that would point to you being vegan (the meat is violent at every stage part esp.), but you realise that the term 'ecofascism' was invented by anti-vegans?
What exactly is that supposed to mean to me?
The people or person who invented the word ‘ecofascism’ could be great people who were making valid criticisms of dogmatic vegans who uphold racist and ableist bullshit, or annoying ‘anti-vegans’ who reblogged that hotdog-eating contest post once.
The people or person who invented the word ‘ecofascism’ could have had a great definition on that first try or they could have gotten it all wrong and the person who used the word the 2nd, or 30rd, or 120th time could have gotten it all right.
I don’t know, but neither is particularity relevant to me how the word ecofascism is used today. And honestly, we’d be pisspoor antifascists if we dropped a valuable term like that from our vocabulary just because whoever said it first was ‘problematic’ or because the people who coined it didn’t have identical politics to us.Â
