♦ Mage of the trio, he dodges a lot and never fights hand-to-hand. His bones and Blasters are his favorite weapons. 

♦ Dust’s able to flirt with the first person who seems entertaining to kill time during some missions (infiltration, spotting, escorting Nightmare, etc). 

♦ He smokes during his free time, with Killer and Horror who aren’t bothered by the smell of cig. Even if he doesn’t feel anything -kinda normal when u have no lungs-, he likes to chew and burn it. It’s also a good way to approach his targets during missions. 

♦ Our dusty boy knows that his brother is just a made-up spirit coming from his mind. He’s still disturbed by that because he feels him like he feels Killer or Horror next to him. Dust tried to not think about him and not talk to him, especially when he’s alone. He often dreams about the past: he always wakes up after killing Papyrus, tired, frightened and bored, accustomed to this scene. When he’s drunk or tired, he’s more inclined to have a conversation with his brother. 

♦ Dust has the most Determination of the Bads (i wont talk about Cross because his DT mainly comes from X!Chara). He cant Reset or Save anymore because he leaves his universe. However, he’s able to overstep death. It happens many times during fights against Monsters or Humans. Because of that, he takes a lot of risks

 ♦ His wardrobe is mainly sweats and jeans. Even when he sleeps, he keeps his hoodie and hides his skull. It’s nearly a miracle to see him without it. And he never washes his scarf. 

♦ Dust joined the Bad’s a few months after Killer, when the black one received the mission to go find new members. Nightmare didn’t want to have a big group or sector of influence, but Killer wasn’t enough to avoid Ink’s harassment and his twin. So, our little teary boy was wandering around the Seeleverse and met Dust in his universe during one of his countless loops. The two skeletons fought for hours, with several resets and comebacks from Dust, until NM stopped them. They were both exhausted, especially Killer, who hadn't had any “death breaks” unlike his opponent. Aware of that, the negative brought him back to Dreamtale to heal him. The NM-Killer duo returned a few days later to ask Dust to leave his universe and join them. His response was simple: he laughed before challenging NM to a duel. Dust lost, ending up unconscious. When he woke up, he was no longer in his universe and had been healed. Since then, he has hardly set foot in his original world. 

♦Waking up. Killing. Sleeping. Reset. Tired of his cyclical routine, death and returns to the past, Dust waited until he had enough LOVE and STATS to destroy his Human. Despite all his efforts and sacrifices, he still wasn't strong enough to defeat his nemesis. He had been waiting for days, but it wasn't that horrible brown-haired Human he met in the middle of Snowdin. It was a Monster, one that looked far too much like him… Thinking it was just another figment of his fragmented mind, he attacked. His opponent returned his attacks without flinching, despite their tight exchanges. It was only when a huge Gaster Blaster reduced him to ashes and he returned to his bed that Dust realized it wasn't just a hallucination. He didn't count the number of times he faced this stranger, but he liked his style, his rhythm... It had been a long time since a fight had stimulated him so much. On the verge of defeat, his opponent was saved by a pile of black mud. The thing looked at him briefly and then disappeared. Days passed, one or two Resets took place, but Dust's attention was focused on these strange visitors. 

When he saw them again, when Nightmare defeated him, when he woke up in a cozy, warm bed, far from the ever-present dust of his home, he felt almost… appeased. His brother's face had not appeared during his sleep. He did not hear his voice when he got out of bed. As he wandered through the long corridors of the mansion, he soaked up the atmosphere of the place. The silence. The sober decor. A slightly disturbing aura, like a sea capable of raging. Then he came across the black and the tearful skeletons. The two men were having breakfast. Killer asked how he was doing, while Nightmare handed him a contract with the tip of his tentacle. A laugh escaped him. Dust spent days sleeping and fighting Killer, determined to beat him. No more pressure, no more Humans, no more underground filled with memories... He felt a little alive again. 

One evening, those same memories came back to haunt him. His brother's reproaches burned him to the bone, while Toriel's disappointed gaze made him lose all desire to speak. The skeleton woke up with a start, sweating but feeling lighthearted. The strange master of the house was at his bedside, surrounded by a purple halo. There was no mockery or smugness on his face. He was reading peacefully, seemingly unconcerned with his fate. At least, that's what the dusty skeleton believed before he saw the damp handkerchiefs at his bedside, soaked with a slightly red liquid. His tears. 

“Your paper... Is it still relevant ?”  

♦ Due to his past experiences, Dust avoids Humans and only spends time in worlds where he can be surrounded by Monsters. Hybrids don't bother him much, as he hasn't seen many. However, he sometimes has to encounter them during his missions. Dust then tries to pass his work on to one of his colleagues, but strangely enough, he can't find them. In these cases, he forces himself to appear as friendly as possible in their company and avoids close contact with them.
