#sutton things

//My two cents on Bi-Curious Sutton: I love it. However, I think that the show runners haven’t given up on Sutton/Richard at all, or the Sutton/Richard vs. Sutton/Alex (even though that seems over and done with) twitter ship warring, and I think they’re smart enough to know the backlash they’ll get by calling Sutton bisexual and then still letting her and Richard have all their stuff next season. Or in general, letting Sutton be with any man, because that’s the direction they seem to be taking all of this, if interviews and Instagram bts stories, etc., are to be believed at all. They’re not done with Sutton and Richard yet, because the actors signed on to this show for that romance and because we’ve seen they’re in more together next season. While there are bisexual women who end up with men and prefer men over women but are still very much bisexual, the backlash in the media acts as negative press, so I wonder if bi-curious!Sutton is all we’re going to get out of that whole exchange. I would love to see bisexual women with male partners actually explored since we have bisexual!Kat exploring women, but I doubt The Bold Type will go there.
