Saga of a Life Worth Loving
There is a child that I know with a shining heart of gold She offers love, and from above, a shining dove symbols her soul.
The world is her oyster, and everyone wants to hoist her to the limit of her physics, but the din, it steals and sells her whole.
She lives amongst these strangers, ever wary of the dangers that occupy the wagers set up when she hits the stage.
An opponent is revealed, lumbering onto the field, and her fate is almost sealed in the minds of those who pay.
She fires fast, and fires hard, and before long she hugs the yard under the watchful eyes on guard where the behemoth lay.
Then, For this crime, her holders raged, and furiously stormed the stage; before setting her in a cage, to hide her key away.
There is a girl that I know who tempted death and broke his hold and for the price of that she sold her treasured heart to hell.
She now lives life without a trace, a sullen mask instead of face, to falsify her mortal waste. and make so none can tell.
She pushes hard, and pushes long, hiding her shatters all along, until the vendor sings his song, to show what he's to sell.
He sings a song to advertise his rare, and very comely prize of hearts of every shape, and size, and element as well.
His song just falls on hardened ears, for everyone around has fears of what becomes the coming years, and leaves him where he stands.
Then, after the girl pawns the keys, the vendor weakly whispers please, and upon her entrance she sees a shell, less than a man.
A broken façade shows his smile, easily then masking his guile, and playing with his clasp a while, in the dark, all alone.
She enters, and they finally meet, And taste genuine friendship sweet. Eventually he lets her see- his hardened heart of stone.
She boggles at this, in surprise that such a gripping, lively guy could have pain so vast in size, especially with his wares.
He answers calmly, to her "Why," that he has no money to buy the treasures that he has inside. his products all reap air.
She almost shout aloud, with glee, "I have exactly what you need!" and set on his counter the fee for a new golden heart.
There is a lady that I know, whose beating chest refused to slow, after -so many months ago- I gave her a new start.
