Well, so much for my wish to get OCs up on here, am I right? But no, I don’t intend on abandoning this blog. Not when I had only started it.

However, drawing digitally right now is a struggle for me to do in terms of focus... Doesn’t mean I haven’t done any traditional art, though! Sooooo, why not show a bit of it to you?

With that said, I would like you too meet a few of the OCs I’ve drawn as of late. The first two are a pair of dragons named Survith and Andrea, and both of them are part of a clan I’m creating. Keep an eye out for any other dragons that might raise their heads in the future. ;)

The third one is actually based on a game I’ve gotten into recently, Sky: Children of the Light. I fell in love with it and have found comfort in its beauty and storytelling as of late. As a result, I got inspired and created an OC for the game based on the spirit mantas! This is Spirita, one of the few Sky OCs I wish to create. uwu

“Are you guys the Elric family? Each of them had to give something up to get something in return. : 0 would that mean Andrea is Edward Elric because of his height?”

Andrea: “And whoever this Edward Elric is, I assure you that I am not him.”

Survith: “Oh, dear… Darling, there’s no need to get yourself so upset over something so trivial as height. You’re still incredibly talented, if your research results are any clues.”

Andrea: “Hmph… Fine, fine. It’s still rude.”

Survith: “I know, but you shouldn’t take it so heavily. Appearances are not all there is to oneself.”

“Allow me to answer this one.” Survith stepped forth with a smile, clasping her hands behind her back.

“Andrea is a nocturnal dragon. For that reason, his eyes are more adapted to the dark, unlike ours, which are more adapted for the daytime. And others have said that my eyes are unusual…”

She then tilted her head. “As for my horn…”

“Qiu?” Andrea tilted his head, and Survith followed. “Someone I helped out of the forest… Was that her name? She never told me…”

Neo and Orvan proceeded to nudge their brother with grinning faces. “A girl? What is she? Will we get to meet her?” The questions seemed to be unending until Survith gently pulled the trio apart.

“Well, whoever she is, I only ask that you exercise caution. As we all know, the cover is not all there is to a book.” Survith’s words got a nod of affirmation from Andrea, and he assured her that he would be careful.

Survith tapped her chin with a greyed finger in thought before she responded. “I do not mind him socializing at all. I can’t control that, nor do I desire to. After all, I didn’t get him out of a previous situation, just for someone else to lead him on.

That said…”

Andrea: “We don’t share that kind of information… Sorry, it’s just for safety reasons.”

Survith: “Our home is hard to find. Thankfully, a dragon’s sensitivity to magic makes it easy to track one another down, so we do not need a map. It greatly helped me find Andrea, since he never told us where he settled down. Not that I’m surprised, he’s not good at keeping in touch.”

“Indeed, they are. I wasn’t expecting them to come over, but here they are!” Andrea grinned as he began to present the three with him.

“This is Survith. She’s the leader of our clan. To me, she’s like a mother. She can be strange at times, but we care about her greatly. I’m not sure what kind of dragoness she is, though.”

“Then there’s Neo, an earth dragon. He’s energetic, cheerful, and kind of cocky. But he’s skilled. He’s a great fighter and helps train others on how to hunt and fight. I spent a lot of time with him when I first joined the clan.”

Survith hummed softly. “I met all three of them at different times, back when I was searching for dragons in need of help. After all, dragon hunting was common, and the concept of forming clans was still a relatively new concept among our society.

The first of the three was Neo. He was found on the side of a mountain, on Death’s door. Missing an arm and his wings, and surrounded by a party of hunters… I dealt with the hunters quickly and tended to his injuries right away. Once I knew he would survive, I took him somewhere safe to nurse him back to health. He ended up joining my clan for safety, and he’s stayed by my side since.

The next to join was Orvan. I found him washed up along a coastline, leg mangled in a trap set up by fishermen. Despite my efforts, the only way to free him from it was to perform an amputation… I didn’t like to, but it was necessary. He eventually joined the clan for the same reasons as Neo.

Then there’s Andrea… Quite arguably one of the more interesting dragons I’ve taken in. However, he’s not very particular about having his story shared, so I will hold back to respect his wishes.”
