Spontaneous trips to church retreats. Yes. 

They had been telling us about this retreat and i was gonna go but then i wasn't but then i was but then i wasn't (you get the idea). I was so indecisive.They were leaving Friday at 5 pm. I decided i wanted to go about 2 hours before than.   I have never done something so last minute, so i talk with my friend and we figure out a ride and we went up the next day. Although we got there later than i wanted to (around 5:30ish), I had so much fun and it was so spiritually uplifting. I'm so glad i decided to go. Things i learned: ping pong can be played many ways and in very extreme ways, retreat meals are generally DELICIOUS,1000 times better than the "caf," and i need to surrender everything i have to Jesus. Singing the song, "I Surrender All" has really got to me and made me remember that the things i have on this earth, including my own thought and feelings, all belong to Jesus. Surrendering my life and everything i love to Christ is one thing Christianity is all about.
