Soñé que en la esquina de la cocina, bajo la alacena, había una enorme telaraña. Me acercaba y podía ver una araña igualmente grande, del tamaño de un puño. Parecía una viuda negra, pero en lugar de tener la característica mancha roja, tenía varias manchas rojas en el cuerpo. Bajaba de su escondite, en lo más alto y pegado a la esquina, y comenzaba a comer una presa atrapada. Parecía tener consciencia humana. Me acercaba a mi mamá y le hablaba de la araña, para ver qué hacíamos con ella. No recuerdo más.

I dreamed that in the corner of the kitchen, beneath the upper cabinet, there was a huge spiderweb. I approached it and saw an equally large spider, about the size of a fist. It looked like a black widow, but instead of the typical red mark, it had several red spots on its body. It descended from its hiding place, high up and pressed into the corner, and began to eat a trapped prey. It seemed to have human consciousness. I went to my mom and told her about the spider to figure out what to do with it. I don’t remember anything else.

El sueño presenta un símbolo poderoso con la araña: una criatura arácnida grande, con apariencia alterada (varias manchas rojas), que baja de su escondite para alimentarse. La telaraña en una esquina de la cocina —espacio íntimo, de sustento— podría representar una amenaza latente en un lugar que debería ser seguro. Al compartirlo con tu madre en el sueño, pareciera que estás buscando contención o guía ante algo que no puedes manejar por ti mismo. Podría tratarse de una ansiedad oculta o de una percepción de peligro emocional, no destructivo, pero sí inquietante.
