in the last week, i saw the giant snapper that rules the bull sluice. i ate fried chicken and seven-up cake, homemade pulled pork nachos, and waffle house. i went to the parade with both of my kids for the first time in a decade. i talked to a good friend on the phone for hours. i laughed so much. i made a delicious pot of very angry beans. i slept with my windows open for the first time since spring, and i drank coffee on my cool breezy porch

it's been a very good week

(oh yeah, and i learned a thing about myself that folks have been telling me since i was sixteen, but i finally heard them, and i am still laughing about it)

“Of course,” Bragh replied, opening the door and inviting the priest inside.  “How may I help you today?”

“I was sent to deliver this to you,” Nerran responded, taking an envelope from the satchel that hung at his side. 

Braghaman took the offered envelope and turned it over in his hands. He looked over the seal of the abbey before breaking it and retrieving the letter inside.

Brother Larethian,

I hope that this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to inform you that recently, while doing an inventory of goods, we came across a box that contains items belonging to you. It appears this box may have been left here after you had left to continue your education at the Cathedral in Stormwind. I would like to know how you would like us to handle these materials. If you would please inform the person who brought this letter to you, we will endeavor to make the appropriate arrangements.

Braghaman looked at the priest as he stood patiently waiting.

“I’m supposed to let you know what I’d like to do about this,” Bragh said, receiving a nod from the priest. “Please let Brother Sammuel know that I will travel there later this afternoon to retrieve the items. And please extend my gratitude that he contacted me.”

“Of course, Brother Larethian. I hope the rest of your day is pleasant,” the priest added before turning and seeing himself out.

Bragh looked at the letter again before turning to his son.
